Goku - Agree 100% !! X-Flight is my favorite ride at the park! And my overall favorite ride of all the coasters (over 200) I've been on! I've now got over 300 career rides on it. I can't explain why I love it so much but I do!
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)
Also I noticed last night that the Batman wheel covers have gone missing from the brake run... interesting... (it may have been like that a couple weeks ago but I did not take note)
Sucker for a launch, custom audio and Demon | Coaster Count: 629

I noticed that too. They were there all year but have been gone since they reopened after it got painted….
Maybe just maybe.
And while it’s not important and it’s often wrong, X Flight actually doesn’t have a hyphen. The Wikipedia page is hyphenate but the official list on the app and park pages does not hyphenate it so that’s what we go by. It’s X Flight!
Biggest thing we are getting next year is probably a starflyer, I would love that addition but I honestly rather SFGAm take a break year and do a 50 seasons of thrills thing next year like they did in 2015, I guess it would be fine if this was apart of the package?
Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.

Starflyer is my most anticipated addition, that's what i wanted before Wrath came along
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
If there are restrictions around American Eagles plot, it could be for construction on that. It says zoning, so it’s not necessarily regarding a height variance.
This just in... 2015 is going to bring us... A. The Great American SkyScreamer B. Increased Admission Prices C. Increased Parking Prices D. More Gaping Holes ***Trip Reports May Vary***

I will say this again -
There are no restrictions regarding American Eagle. That whole "We cant build this near the street or tollway" is ridiculous.

What about the supposed height ceiling which prevents us getting a giga??

The height restriction is not supposed its actual:
Waukegan Airport is very close to the park, and nothing can be built taller than 330 Feet, due to FAA regulations.
However, for anything less than that height the rules regarding variances are very specific.
If the proposal is less than 500 feet from a residential area, a height variance is required for any and all proposals higher than 125 feet.
If the proposal is more than 500 feet from a residential area, a height variance is required for any and all proposals higher than 200 feet.
This is why a height variance was not required for Wrath - because it is more than 500 feet from a residence and less than 200 feet tall.
Looks like the great park purge has begun, hopefully we can came out of this unscathed
We will.
They will close or sell off smaller parks or some of the standalone water parks…like Rockford. Those standalone water parks never made such. It’s such a short operating season and very weather dependent.
