Obvious guess is either staffing or an attempt to save money, because obviously they CAN, and some of the other parks still are this year.

You're probably right with either of those guesses. Maybe next year we'll see the coasters running again for Holiday!

Anyone know if dogs are allowed at the HITP Drive Thru? Obviously planning to keep them inside the car at all times.

I noticed that St. Louis is running American Thunder! I thought wooden coasters don't do well in the cold?

So today I learned that at the back of BTR there are doors that close off the track inside the station. I saw it while riding Triple Play. Who else knew those doors were there?

I was at HITP last night. Whirligig is gone. In past years I seem to remember it was Winterized but not removed. A DC Villains retheme, maybe? Retheme of YH for 2022? Also, part of American Eagle's track was covered with a tarp... Hmmm.

They use this to keep the heat inside the maintenance bay / transfer track area, as they do not remove Batman's trains over the off-season like most other coasters.
Been to may theme parks, in many countries. However, SFGAm is my home park and I love it!

Six Flags' HITP video on the website has a DC themed swing ride in one of the scenes but its just a stock video

If the 2022 Season Pass page on the website is any indication, Holiday In The Park is done after this season :(

Word on the street is many SF parks will be dropping HITP next season. Basically if it hasn't been profitable at any specific park, it will be gone. As of today, SFStL modified they schedule for this year, will now end on Dec 31

^ Based on the Season Pass pages for each park, SFGAm, SFNE, SFA, and SFSTL are done with HITP

That’s disappointing to hear.
I’m going to miss riding the B&Ms in December.
I wonder if the drive thur will stay though.

Agree 100% with you about riding the B&M's in December! I got 23 total rides in just a few hours in Dec, 2019 on Batman/X-Flight and Raging Bull ! And my birthday happens to be in mid-December!

But this year I got to ride Dark Knight 20x in a row! It was a total walk on.

Oh man, that sounds so painful. You'd have to pay me to ride The Dark Knight again.
