Something I noticed during Holiday in the Park that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is that the park took down (or cut down) all Totem Poles in Yukon Territory. The most prominent ones were at the entrance to Yukon at Yankee Harbor. Likely they were removed because they are inappropriate and disrespectful to Native Americans, but I don't know that for certain.
Oh nooo the totem poles :/ Another piece of the original park, gone.
As for Goliath (SFNE), I've heard nothin but trouble about that ride sadly. Don't know what Silverwood did to "DéjàVu" that made it operate better but NE clearly didn't do that. Made it worse with the premier trains apparently. Harley Quinn at SFDK looks like she's on her way out too.

I think Silverwood let Vekoma work with the ride. Six Flags probably just hired Premier to hopefully fix everything.
Opening Day video posted. It is a bit long, about an hour, but did an entire walk through of the park. Includes Tsunami Surge, New water park entrance, Scenic Railway tracks, Holiday train in the Demon tunnel, most rides working, etc.

Thanks Rob. Nicely detailed. Good to see the park again.
My big takeaways:
1) The terms for the dining pass have been improved "for a limited time". The terms "lunch" and "dinner" have been abstracted to "first meal" and "second meal". The first meal can be taken anywhere from 11:00 til closing. Same for snacks. The second meal can be taken anywhere from 90 minutes after your first meal til closing.
2) Ordering food through the mobile app allows you to choose your food and reserve a time for you to place that order. Once that time arrives, you have to go into the app again and confirm that you have arrived. Only then will the food be prepared.
I wasn't there, but from the video and other posts I gather that Sky Trek Tower and Roaring Rapids are closed all season (per the maps), and Justice League and Dark Knight are closed for now (and I presume until the state relaxes more rules).
Also seems like the Flintstones ride is gone too, but I don't remember if that happened earlier or not? Is that entire back section of Camp Cartoon closed off now, since both it's rides are gone?
The one that doesn't make as much sense to me is Roaring Rapids, unless they'd have to run with just one group at a time?
I also found it interesting that the HH path didn't seem to have changed even though it's no longer on the map.
^^^ I really hope they make permanent the dining hour change for the Meal Passes! It should make the lines more manageable and eliminate the huge lines that happen around the end of lunch and dinner fixed times .
I was at Six Flags STL 2x last year and I think they had the "new" model for Meal Pass times and it worked well.
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)

Great video Rob! I just watched the entire thing. Thanks for the walk thru.
Question: are those boneless wings and that loaded chicken sandwich a new thing? I've never been in that chicken place by Eagle. I like the nachos/funnel cake place across from Demon because I can get a meal and the funnel cake with only 1 wait in line!

Yes the boneless wings by the Eagle have been there for a long time and this is the only place i know I of where you can get them buffalo style. The sandwich is new this year as well. Glad you liked the video. I know it was a bit long, but figured people could just scrub through to what interests them.

Rob, The video wasn't too long at all. It was great to watch a complete walkthrough considering mgmt didn't do much to keep the public engaged during the closure. I appreciated the length and like a lot of things lately a full, virtual experience.
Park update today (5/1/2021): Got to the park at about 12:30 and it was very busy. Temperature check line for the first group was to the new Hurricane Harbor entrance and the second one was almost as long, but made it through in about 12 minutes. Maxx Force was down as it seems there is an issue when the train leaves the station it does not fully clear the last car, thus the second train cannot move into the station. Buccanner Battle and Loger's Run also were open today.
Food was long, but Mobile ordering go me my Strutters in about 12 minutes. Not sure of the IL governor moved to another level or note (saw a note that he might by this weekend), but the capacity seems much more than 25%. In addition, Batman - The Dark Knight and Justice League were both opened today which are indoor attractions and were not opened previously. On B-TDK, the queue part in the old theater was skipped, but did not ride so cannot tell you how they spaced indoors. That's about it for difference I saw this week compared to last weekend.

Thanks...glad you liked it. I tried to cover everything and it got long in trying to do so. I can see in the YouTube Analytics that most people watch for about 12 minutes and I usually try for ten minutes and a good balance.
Illinois definitely hasn't moved to a new phase (people thought it might by this time based on the vaccination numbers, which have met what they needed to, but some other metrics haven't), so it should still be 25%. The thing is, it's presumably 25% of 'maximum' capacity, not 'normal' capacity, so that can still be a lot, especially if stuff is going slower because of Covid reasons. But I haven't been to the park this year so I can't judge for myself
