With V2, you get the sudden jolt when it launches but other than that, it just gradually speeds up. It is fun for sure and I really like V2 but the hydraulic launches have a good constant force on you during the launch. That approximately 2 seconds of the launch of Maxx Force will be very intense and have you pushed good against that seat.

If any of you have been on Kingda Ka, it will be more intense then that or Top Thrill Dragster. 0-78 in 1.8 seconds is unbelievable. That’s the draw for the attraction. People are gonna wait for that no matter how long the line is. I honestly don’t think people will care about the short ride time.
Then again maybe I’m wrong...
Also X-Flight was already testing at this point and opened the weekend of May 12th I believe. So my guess is this will not be ready by Memorial Day

Completely agree. The intensity will make the ride worth while.
Beside the launch I can't wait to experience that barrel roll over the train at 60MPH! I'm actually even excited to ride train to see Maxx under it and over it!

Seriously, watch this clip of Hypersonic XLC. https://youtu.be/mjx_zwl79CY?t=100 Look how that thing takes off. Blink and you miss it. It MaxxForce is anything close, it is going to be insane!
I was a little upset it didn’t break 80mph. I was like 78, really? lol but we’re tellin you, it’s gonna be intense. & also I thought the air launches are 1.6sec. Not that those .2sec mean a damn thing really lol
The launch will be extreme, no question. I'll get a chance to see the launch track length for myself on Saturday. From all the pics and videos I've seen it looks short.

I have heard that the more recent ones in China are pretty reliable (i.e. Oct Thrust SSC1000). That is my concern with this ride, though they probably have them working better than the old Hypersonic XLC and Ring Racer days.
Good to hear. But remember that Hypersonic XLC was S&S's first ever coaster, let alone air launch. It'll be so exciting to see the area come together. I wonder if trains are coming in soon.

I hope the entrance sign turns out ok, it's looks like it'll be small if they're just converting it. Maybe they kept the Pictorium sign for FF?
They say there isn't a spot in the park where rusting metal or peeling paint is at least 15 feet away from you.
Thank you so much for all of the updates Rob. I love all of the shots you got from inside of the park. Really makes you realize how tall this coaster actually is when you see it next to Raging Bull's turn around. Absolutely amazing looking and unique coaster that we are adding to our great lineup at the park.
Yes, thanks Rob! I really appreciate it. Is Carousel Gifts getting an exterior repaint? Not sure how the white, pink, and blue will look with the black signage.
