That picture above with Maxx Force, Raging Bull's first turnaround and V2 in the background make Viper look like a kiddie coaster. :D

That's what someone said at the tour. At NCC they said there will be 2 trains running and I assume there would be a third in storage.

Here’s an updated from today, 4/07/19. It’s crazy how different this ride looks based on your perspective of it. ImageImageImage It looks absolutely beautiful from the demon midway! Image
Also, driving south toward the park on Dilleys road gives a cool perspective of Maxx’s sheer size!
Been to may theme parks, in many countries. However, SFGAm is my home park and I love it!

1) I gotta say, even though I like a variety of flats and coasters at the park, watching a new coaster go up is mesmerizing. Makes me feel like a kid as Christmas approaches.

2) The park said this coaster would be completed by "summer", but I was hoping for a Memorial Day opening. They're making good progress, but I'm thinking late June would be a more likely target date. Even if construction completes in the next seven weeks (Memorial Day), you still have to get through landscaping, testing, and final inspections/permitting. Hope I'm wrong.

I swear this ride looks different from every angle  It really does feel like Christmas. I'm so excited to see the trains too. I can see an early to mid June opening in my opinion.

Wow! Thanks for the amazing pictures!! Does Maxx Force’s launch look as physically short in person as it looks in photos?

That is what I've been thinking too! I can't imagine the launch being as long as it is in the cgi video and there being a double loading station too.

Yes, your markings are pretty much on the spot. The launch track is INCREDIBLY short. This ride is going to be so intense!

BCarroll, I can’t explain how excited I am for this!! Maxx Force is gonna be insane. As a matter of opinion, it might just be *so* intense that people will be blown away.

Too many people are focused on the duration. This ride is all about speed and intensity. They packed 5 inversions into an insanely short ride! That's pretty cool.

I imagine they'll start installing track to the other tower and work their way to the center and top it off!

Man, I can't wait to see it to the first time up close on Sunday, even if it's going to be freezing.

Lookin awesome. This first element is so odd. Apparently it’s called “the dog tongue” ? & i love that. Lol

I wont be attending advocate day this year so I’m hoping track is nearly complete by opening day.

A banana roll is synonymous with the dog tongue inversion. The first double inversion element on Maxx Force is a modified banana roll (dog tongue) except the entrance and exit of the inversions are set at 90 degrees with respect to each other. And rather than being one inversion, it is a two inversion element. So, calling it a modified dog tongue implies it is a modified banana roll. Then, is Maxx Force’s double inversion a “double dog tongue?”

The park posted a picture of the "Dog Tongue" (sounds so much cooler than double inversion XD) on their instagram. That element looks different from every angle!

I didn't even notice they added another track piece too.

^ Is there any way you can post a picture of the newly installed track section? I don’t have instagram and I’m having trouble establishing a new user account.

That’s what I find irritating. Everyone would be able to view the pictures if they were just posted to the park’s instagram account, but the park is posting the pictures to an album which requires an Instagram login to view.
