Former Great America rides - which ones would you bring back

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby CoasterRiderSC on September 28th, 2018, 1:32 pm
In thinking of ALL the former rides our park has had, which ride(s) would you bring back if you could?

Sky Whirl for me. This ride was fun, family friendly and had huge capacity.

Also I would bring back Tidal Wave. It was a great and fun ride, even though it was short.

Tidal Wave. It’s the perfect “rite of passage “ coaster.

Yeah, Shockwave, at least at the end, was pretty unrideable for a lot of people (including myself).

I have a friend who rode Shockwave 10x in a row after a very long (2-3 hours) rain delay! That warrants some type of award of plaque!!

I've always wanted to experience Sky Whirl. It's such a classic ride for this park and has Great America written all over it.

Sky Whirl- we desperately need a high capacity family crowd eater.
Shockwave- maybe retooled slightly to eliminate the roughness.
SplashWater Falls-just because if you really wanted to get wet on a 90 degree day all you really had to was stand on the bridge!
Great America Raceway with 2 sides- Again now we are seriously lacking in thefamily rides department.
Tidal Wave-Replace V2 and have something that would actually fit in Yankee Harbor.
Logger's Run and Yankee Cliper- I know these are both still up and running however I am talking about opening the sides they welded off and returning it to it's crowd eater status.
Space Shuttle America- though under the guise of a motion theater with rotating movies and Elvira's Superstition for Fright Fest.
Orbit- It was an original.
Z-Force- just looked cool from the pics I've seen.
HayBaler- again crowd eating ride needed.
Eagle's Flight and Southern Cross because we need more than 1 transportation system.
Great america Scenic Railway- again I know this is still up and running but I would add another stop or 2 in Mardi Gras/Yankee and Southwest.

Sky Whirl, I have a theory that that section is cursed cause after it got removed; Deja Vu was plagued with problems and nobody rides Buccaneer Battle.

Shockwave. If it is anything like Viper at SFMM, this is a top half coaster at SFGAm today. Much better than Superman.

Deja Vu. I never rode it at SFGAm, but I rode it at Silverwood in 2017 and it was absolutely awesome. It is in my top 25. Would love for it to return.

Sky Whirl. Seems ginormous and interesting. Would love to give it a spin.

Cajun Cliffhanger. Another ride I would love to experience and a thrilling flat we could use.

At least you actually got to ride it! It was always down when I went , and I wasn't going as frequently then as I am now. But I can say that I did ride Z-Force!

X Flight's first drop would be right in the face of that monster cobra roll. Walking through that section of the park would look awesome!

Cajun Cliffhanger was similar to a washing machine during its spin cycle. It relied on centrifugal force to pin you against its walls, then it dropped the floor out from beneath you.

I got pretty sick on this ride. I was able to hold things together until I got on Sky Whirl, then I barfed. Good times.

Z Force was AWFUL! Sky Whirl was such an icon of the park, like Columbia.

If it looked like that... perhaps haha the tilt concept is still awesome to me but we will see if those catch on finally.
