I think you just made it seem longer by posting this.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Remember that Kiddieland opens up next Saturday.
Some great flats and a junior woodie to get your juices flowing before May 1st.

Offseason seemed to go by quick for me. Went to a park though (BGT) and a Skycoaster, and a waterpark.

It was very slow for me, but now after SFSTL it's not quite as bad, sense I got a few coasters.

I thought it was a pretty long off season. although, I didn't get to go to Fright Fest, just one trip to Michigan's Adventure in the fall. so my season ended earlier than anticipated and now people all across the net are talking about all their opening days which is making the wait even worse.
why, oh why can't SFGA open earlier?

Numeres variables, mainly cause it's normally freezing this time of year resulting in minimal crowds

Which is good for us, if only the park opened earlier.

Exactly
Even though this is the shortest offseason I've ever had, because I was at SFGAm on Nov. 2nd, then SFOG and BGT in March.
It's always these last few weeks in April that move the slowest.
Finally Coaster Season!!

I think a great thing thing that I would Like is opening the park like on April 25thand closing Nov 5th, To make this possible,
1. Close the park on Mon, Sept 6th.
I went there once and although all the rides were running (Except for Ice Mountain Splash, and Hometown Fun Machine. There were about 700 other people there. Every ride was a walk-on
2. Close the park May 17-28 leaving the weekends

Ice Mountain Splash I notice is only open on weekends. Probably because more people are at SFGAm on weekends

They'd probably get a better crowd on Labor Day than in Nov. Nov 5th is crazy. I remeber last year that the second weekend in Nov was in the 20's. But I agree with opening the park in the last week of April. Because usually the weather is nice by then and you won't have many days with highs under 50.

If they closed the parks during the weekdays in May then all the school fieldtrips and graduation trips would be cancelled
