Yes, that's the 10 flip model I believe. Whatever flips it is, yes it's a larger model which is closer to what I think a park our size would get.
The only thing that I find strange is that Great Adventure got the smaller model so why would we get this one? If I'm not mistaken Great Adventure is significantly larger as far as land goes but I'm not sure about the attendance numbers.

Which is why I said you'd THINK a park "our size" would get. I was in shock that SFGAdv got a clone of batman. Still makes no sense to me. Buttt maybe they will realize a larger model is necessary for us if it were to ever happen.
As for those of you who "don't want one" - may I ask why? It's a modern roller coaster that so many theme parks would be grateful to have. You have to look at it that it's something new to guests regardless that rides like X(2) & Eejanaika have been around for 10-15yrs. I would love one here, it's something unlike anything we have...
GADv was supposed to get the larger model, but after park officials rode Batman at SFFT, they thought it was enough, and decided the smaller model would be good.
The reason why the bigger model seems like it would be a good fit is because in order for it to fit it needs to go over the path. And the airtime hill at the end is positioned where that path is.

First off, we aren't limited on space. Currently open space? Yes. The development crew will not work around existing rides, but they can (Especially around the flumes). There are several areas we can further develop (i.e. the holes in the park).
Secondly, we use certain acronyms for rides and parks. It's SFGAm and SFGAdv. There is a thread for it, look it up.
Welcome to SFGAmWorld! Just take the time to adjust to our language and read past posts in forums you want to post in (so you aren't sounding repetitive), and you'll be all good!
RC and ERC's spot is where it would go. And as GOLIATH2014 pointed out thatch a previous post the airtime hill could go over the bridge that connects Yankee Harbor to Mardi Gras.
The whole thing about a Free-Spin going over the Mardi Gras bridge was a stupid rumor someone whipped up in 30 seconds... and now everyone's buying it.... It's not just because I'm anti-freespin, it's because it wouldn't even fit...
Given the time of the year, I bet that's for Fright Fest. I don't believe they were actually using the area for anything this year anyway, so they could just slap up some new pictures next year and it's hardly different that what they've had. But we shall see...

"Confirmed" if you trust random Facebook posts or information from employees. And, hey, if you do, that means the S&S 4D is "confirmed" as well!
Not true at all, I don't believe the 4D Rumor like some of you. I heard that someone asked in Guest Relations what was going on and they said it was for Fright Fest
But "hearing that somebody asked" doesn't mean that it actually happened. And even if it did, it also doesn't mean Guest Relations actually knew and was telling the truth.

The transfer station and queue would still be in the way. Notice the large building on the back of the ride in the below picture. The current version of the ride has 5 trains that need to be stored.
People should not want this ride. It's a poor ride that will be a big disappointment. Other parks who have it have shown it's popular just b/c it's new and people want to see what the new ride is about Few after riding it once are thrilled it. It's not a ride you have to do again afterwards or a must go ride multiple times on a trip to the park. IT'S UNDERWHELMING!
Tell that to Six Flags then because they seem to want them. I'll take it you wouldn't ride it if we do get one. What makes you think that it would be a big disappointment? I won't be surprised if every park eventually gets one even SFMM once GLFF is torn down for it.
