Never started counting credits to, recently.

But my take on it is that if it the ride experience is different (i.e. Putting it in a forest as opposed to its former in the open) it's a new credit.
If they take the coaster and plop it in a different location (déjà vu to aftershock) even if a new paint job or name it's the same credit.
Backwards coasters aren't new credits

Alpine coasters are credits.
Traveling coasters are one credit. Not one for every different location

Close your eyes, and if you notice a different through your other senses (touch or hearing), then it's a different experience.

I was thinking of this, but what do you all consider looping "coasters"
I don't consider them a coaster/credit but people call them coasters so what's your guys take

Larson Fireballs are just a sneaky scheme Six Flags made up to try and up the parks' coaster counts. Specifically Great Adventure's. Six Flags just has to face the facts that Herhseypark is the new East Coaster Capital.

I could be sold on the fact that they are powered coasters. I don't count any powered coasters, so no issue here, but there is literally no difference at all between a Ring of Fire and a powered coaster.

They are not a new credit. It's the same track, only in a different location.

It's not a new credit. Like many people have said, you're riding on the exact same track.

Clones are new credits.

I disagree with people who think additional theming makes it a new credit.

A clone is practically the same as a relocation. It's a different atmosphere. Whether it be climate, geography, and/or theming.

I would consider Apocalypse a new credit.

I would consider Batman: The Ride at any other Six Flags a new credit.

Would you count Pipe Scream (Zamperla Skater) at Cedar Point a Coaster like they do?

I don't count those, any relocation, DiskO's, Intamin Halfpipes, Superman at SFMM, 1'st gen freefalls, any coaster powered though a majority of the ride, pretzel gravity powered dark rides, and though I put them on my track record, I have a very hard time counting Intamin Impulse coasters like V2

I don't count backwards coaster as separate credits, but I make a dictation in my coaster count.

Do you guys count dual-coasters as two credits? (Like AE?) I do.

I was wondering if Eagle counts as 2 rides?? I DO count both Dueling Dragons in Orlando as 2 rides because they are different layouts.

I also count Little Dipper as 2 rides (rode it at Kiddieland as a youngster!)

I count opposite sides as two different credits.
However, for a rollercoaster like Space Mountain at Disney World, do you guys consider it two different credits even though they're just a mirror image and are different by 10 feet?

Doesn't matter. You're riding on a different track. Hell, if there was two Batman clones right next to each other in the same park with the same name I'd still count them separately.

Call me weird, but I have to ask this question: Does anyone else think it would be cool to have to evacuate any coaster on the lift hill and take the stairs down?? I've always kind of wanted to do that! I don't know why.

I've never gotten an exit pass myself and I've never gotten stuck on a ride where I had to get off.

I didn't get to walk down the lift, but on Mystery Mine at Dollywood, we got stuck on the brake right after the smallest 90 degree drop and the high bank. I was so awesome as it was during the fireworks (which we had a perfect view of) and were walked down the stairs. So cool!

I'd also love to walk on the stairs down, but not evacuate the coaster since I have a "streak" of never being stuck. (Unless you count one time last year where my AE train stopped halfway exiting the station for about 5 seconds.)

I'd really like an exit pass as well, next time I see someone go in a restricted area, I'm going to report them like great america fan did last year so I can get an exit pass.

That Mystery Mine looks awesome! I want to make it to Dollywood sometime.

I've also wondered about having to exit Superman? That could only be done with a lift of some sort.

I believe it's similar to B:TR, where the platform slides under the riders.
