Well the only reason they took the eyes out of the sewer was that a religious group protested

I doubt they're doing that. Batman is based off of a comic book for children. None of the theming there is too harsh. I think it's either in storage so paint won't drip on it or they're refurbishing it.
Well just think about NOT having the theming this season, if it's a busy day the queue line will just feel like its taking twice as much time. It's always fun to look at the theming and read all the graffitti and stuff like that while you are waiting for potientially an hour and a half. On a busy day people won't want to wait that much for a shorter ride that has so theming.

I was at Six Flags Great America on Friday April 2 to fill out an application to work there and I saw a guy painting it a yellowish gold color and it looks like crap. They should repaint it black.

Or "Batman Blue" to be exact. But I don't want to start another arguement over what color it is (I mean was); I just had to say that!
Alright, who cares about what it was, it's yellow now. If your going to be working there they probably dont want you to be b*tching about what they're doing on SFGAmWorld anyway .
I still can't get the picture of the B:TR queue line without themeing, it would just be dumb to do. What do they accomplish by doing it? I highlt dou they have good reason to remove theming that has been in place for 12 years, what could have made it so they had to take it out? These are all questions that can't be answered by SFGAM I bet. I want to hear why they took out the themeing, because I'm betting the reason is BS....
The Proof will actually be seen when the park opens to the public, any sooner and that is illegal. I think the themeing is gone, simply because it was getting old anyways, and if GAdv did it, I'd suspect we'd do the same, hopefully not with cheap paint...
Well if they took the theming away and are painted the ride the same color they will use the same paint and since Sherwin Williams is a big sponsor they will use that paint which is what Great Adventure used. So we will see how the paint will hold up
How do you guys even know that those were in fact paint chips. They could have just been paint drips from the paint and it's normal for paint to drip like that. I didn't see anything wrong with the paint on the track, so I don't really think it matters. I think it's so close to opening day and everyone is so excited that they're coming to conclusions and making some of the smallest rumors into big things. You're not the one running the park, so if I were you I'd wait until opening day before jumping to conclusions. It's only 25 days away.
Their doing everything fine, Revy should be open but Mardi Gras, eeehhh. Demon was cycling even though it's not even near being finished painting, B:TR's theming, the new important people probably thaught it was trash and threw it away :flemy cough:, sorry bout that.

Not to change the subject but "A comic book for children?" Have you ever actually read Batman. Becasue after the first year or so, when they realised it wasn't working, it got much darker. Batman is sort of Creepy and Bloody. He's called the dark knight for a reason.
Plus, since it came out in the early 90's, it's more based on Tim Burton's movies. And they are creepy and bloody and really weird. The themeing works perfectly for what they were going for. And if they did take it out permenantly, i'll be mad.
