These pictures are blurry. It looks like Fright Fest, the show, or something.

I don't think the vote for what you want to hear more information about in the teaser videos matters much. What matters are some of the hints they're dropping in the information they're giving.

1st video: they mentioned "choose your path." I think the fact you have a choice between one direction and another is a big clue. (Red vs. Blue?)

2nd video: the choice between Southwest Ampitheater and Aunt Martha's. At SWAmp, the worker stated he hadn't heard anything "concrete." Something involving concrete in construction? (I haven't been able to figure that out yet, but "concrete" is an interesting choice in words. Why not say "I haven't heard anything specific"? One particular ride used an awful lot of concrete to create the queuing area that takes an eternity to walk through just to choose a path.)

3rd video: the choice between the Demon and Pictorium. At the Demon, the worker first said the Demon isn't going anywhere, it's a "signature attraction" and a "masterpiece." But the Demon isn't too happy about its "neighbors." I don't think the BIG news is anything going where the SkyTrail used to be, but I don't see Buccaneer Battle going. It's still relatively new. But what other ride allows you to have a "neighbor" on the side?

Next video's choices will be about Buccaneer Battle and....the paint shop? The paint shop is not an attraction to the general public. Why would there be a scoop in the paint shop if park patrons can't get access in there? Is something being re-painted that may really need it?

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but to me, all the clues being dropped in the videos are screaming something about American Eagle.

Ok, but what do you think it could possibly be? It's obviously not an Iron Horse thing, they'd have already closed it. Just retracking or repainting it would be great, but it wouldn't be something that they would really promote as the NEW FOR 2015 RIDE. So, what, then?

I could be wrong, but I suspect people are seeing lots of "clues" that aren't there. Here's what I think is going on: the park knows they can pretty much coast on Goliath for another year, so the new addition is going to be pretty minor. However, in this day and age it's expected the park will ALWAYS tease, no matter how small the addition. But they know that whatever it is they have isn't very exciting, so they're just trying to generate chatter and rumors with this choose your path thing, to try to take away attention from the fact that they don't really have much to say. I really think that if they had a new attraction worth dropping hints about, they'd be dropping those hints.

That said, I hope I'm wrong and they blindside us with something amazing and unexpected (which was totally teased all along, we just all missed it). I'm just not holding my breath.

Everyone vote for the paint shop!!!
It looks like they're trying to ensure there's only popular support for 1 of the 2 options so they can plan the whole series ahead of time.

I just thought of something that could work.

A slingshot to replace Sky Trail.

That's exactly the thought I had too. Something more thrilling that would still get added revenue to Six Flags. But I don't think they'd make an upcharge thing the only new attraction, so that would still leave something else (and I still think there might be something in the RC spot, it seems suspicious that they don't mention it at all, and it looks pretty bad sitting empty, you'd hope they would want to fill it ASAP).

Wow, embarrassing lol. Sorry the train has not been opened anytime I've gone except this year & I've only been on twice this year. My excuses of not riding in 2009 & 2012 was that I was living out of state soooo ;) oops.

As for all this mumble jumble. I hate admitting this whether it ever happens or never happens - I am starting to love the idea of a BLUE SIDE ibox revamp. AE is almost too precious to touch in that way & that's why I truly believe it will never happen. But who's to say RMC hasn't drawn them up a plan or two for sh!ts & giggles & they actually adore it?! With this all said my popular opinion is that not only will this never happen but DEF NOT happen for 2015. We just got Goliath. We're not Magic Mountain. If we were to on the crazy chance(s) get a new coaster I could see it being very family/kiddie friendly, much to the extent of SFMM's recently added 19th coaster. I say bring back a great family section. Tearing out BBNP is something I have never wrapped my head around. I don't care that it was a tiny railroad with some flats we couldn't ride. It brought smiles to the thrill seekers in training. The ball pit had to go. That's nasty whether it be SF or Chucky Cheese. But Little Dipper would have complimented that well & I would love to see two to three family additions go in Sky Trails spot & BBs unnesessary que area. It'd be cute. Not what you want but cute. Like they said ... All about BALANCE.

Maybe they are doing 2 things this year. A flat ride in the Sky Trail section, and the Rocky Mountain Construction Iron Horse makeover on American Eagle?

Again, if they were doing an Iron Horse makeover on American Eagle, it would already be closed. These things take more than an off-season. They would probably also need Village approval, because the height is currently 127 feet and I'd assume that IF they were doing this, they would raise it.

But again we don't need 2 RMCs in the same park, let alone 2 that are a few hundred feet away from eachother, also not to mention that we've invested about $34 million dollars into that section of the park in the last 3 years alone and the rest of the park looks neglected from weathering and erosion of paint ect

I can't also be the only person who thinks the coasters look better with grass under them. I love raging bull and all but the ground looks bad after the drop whereas superman looks good. I don't know maybe that's me but I think they should put grass on the coaster lots

Maybe the paint shop clue, tied along with the picture of the guy on Columbia, is a hint that it is getting a paint job (like others have said). If the paint shop thing pans out, it might make more sense.

Everything they said is in the general vicinity of each other. I don't think this is a coincidence.

could they be altering the parks path? Maybe the reason they are closing/moving sky trail is because they are closing the path in front of demon. And the Demon being mentioned is a hint to an entrance move to southwest territory over the tracks to where Trailblazer was or along the path between Demon and X-Flight that leads to SW territory? Buccaneer Battle could also be mentioned for either moving its entrance to more like where it exits. (personally I'd remove it altogether) Do those and then take out Demon Dogs and the chicken finger place and you have a nice plot of land including the opened up now useless midway to work with for the future. It would also make a load of sense to make people move from county fair to southwest territory then to hometown square without allowing them to skip SW territory by walking passed Demon. This should have been done years ago when SW territory opened. The foot traffic flow ever since made no sense. Taking this year to fix that long standing issue (also freeing up space for the future) and also paint some rides, fix some railings, work on landscaping would make for a better looking park. Then in 2016 we can get that cool new ride in the newly opened room. perhaps 2015 can even be last year for BB.

That's a good idea but I think people would complain about the extra walk and even though I never use that pathway (anytime I go from county fair to hometown square or elsewhere we stop to ride the bull) mostly because I never ride the demon or buccaneer battle but now that you mention it that would be a gigantic plot

^^ I really don't see how the current path set up is a long standing issue or doesn't make any sense. It's not like people have any trouble finding Southwest Territory with the current set up. I agree that it could potentially open up a lot of land, but I would find it incredibly annoying to have to walk through SWT to get from HTS to CF. Making people walk farther to first aid wouldn't be good either.

I highly doubt a new path is new for 2015. How can you even market that. New for 2015 a new path that will make people walk longer. I am sure whatever they build will be marketable.

They tried that about 10 years ago where you had to walk through Southwest Territory and it failed miserably.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I Was looking at an older map and comparing some locations they are taking out the ropes course well looking at the trees there seems like there might be room for a disko. Dont get your knickers in a twist it is just a suggestion but does any one else think something like this could go here.

A few things:

1) Yes, it failed horribly when they tried to make people go through SWT, but I think that might have been because there was so obviously no reason for it. I think it COULD work better if they stuck a big coaster there, people would complain for a while but the reason would be obvious and they would get used to it. Not saying I think they WILL do this, though.

2) As somebody else pointed out, remember that all these videos are teasing the 2015 announcement that will happen next week. Here's the list of last year's annoucements - http://content.sixflags.com/comingin2014/ I think it's a safe bet that whatever it is will be on par with what Six Flags has done the last few years, so whatever we get has to sort of fit with the list. The CEO of Six Flags is NOT going to announce a national lineup of a bunch of coasters, a few dark rides, a few water slides, a SkySceamer, a show, and SOME NEW LANDSCAPING AND PAINT and CLOSING OFF A PATH.

3) People think SFGAm has a confusing path? Take a look at Great Adventure (https://www.sixflags.com/sites/default/ ... ullmap.pdf) sometime. SFGAm actually has one of the simpler layouts around, even including the one place in the entire park where it's not just a standard loop. It could be a lot worse.

Yeah he has. That's Jim's trademark. He makes these hilarious videos regarding additions to parks. Some of his highlight quotes:

"We have deep Texas roots, As you can clearly tell from my accent"- Texas Sky Screamer
"As those famous philosophers Bill & Ted once said "Excellent""- Safari Off Road Adventure
