It's not music, but what sounds like a dramatic spoken radio broadcast, right? I have definitely heard it on the ride in years past at certain times. It usually was played as a companion piece to the Demon theme song.
Cedar Point does have a railway, it's one of the largest amusement park steam operations outside of Disney. At least one of their locomotives, the G.A. Boeckling, actually came from SFGAm as SFGAm's ill fated Steam Fleet was to heavy to run on the tracks along with being to expensive to operate. I don't think the Boeckling ever operates at CP, I know it's their only oil fired steam engine.

If my research was correct (too young to ride it in 80s)
Demon was very well themed. But as a coaster with kids riding it. People complained it was too devilish. And they removed stuff (ie theme song and pipes near entrance). They brought that stuff back for fright fest and they have gradually added theming back. (Which they have been doing for other rides too)
The theme song I think was about how the park never payed taxes or anything on the coaster and the demon possessed it.

And to try to get this thread somewhat more on topic, another place where they could put a SkyScreamer or small flat ride without taking out too much of consequence: the Southwest Territory mission, next to Chubasco.

The railway is the most popular ride? Unless you're a little kid, why would anyone waste time at Cedar Point riding the railway? lol.
Boneville, the views, to get off your feet and relax, and many other reason. Every park that I go to I make sure that I ride the train.
When he said ridership, I believe he was referring to the capacity that the train has, which is very good, so that means that it is be of the most ridden rides in the park, making it a very popular ride in the park by ridership.

They could be looking back on the Goliath blueprints, or they could be turning the scenic railway into a scenic show railway like Cedar Point has. Mini shows along the way, and after all the neglect it's gotten over the past 2 years, it seems fitting to revive it to bring people back to it.
I think those shirts were last years and that's why they're on clearance. My friend bought one and he had no idea it was a girls tank top and it didn't fit him. He couldn't return it....so he was out 5.00
Am I the only one who thinks we could fit a Ferris wheel in rc spot? We are one of the few parks that have one and it could probably go over the midway

I totally agree! We are really lacking a Ferris wheel type ride at the park. The spot definitely looks big enough for a mid-size wheel. Oh how I miss Sky Whirl

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
As most of you have probably already got, I received a future ride idea survey that asked about a splash pad playground hybrid, an electronic dance show that would offer ert after 10, a flight simulator, and a gaming competition... Not entirely thrilled about a flight simulator and a gaming competition would be a really * you for a new "attraction". Not opposed to the splash pad idea though and the dance show only sounds cool for ert
