They were putting that on during Media Day as well. It's some sort of grease to curtail the slight rattling of the train on the pre lift. With out the grease, the train has a loud rattle to it as it goes from the station to the lift hill.

I have done the search and nothing too relevant has shown up. I got back on Saturday from a Service Trip and went to the park on Sunday, so I also didn't want to got through the 20 pages on this thread.
I have no idea which way is correct but I have been through the SR line two out of the three I've seen. At first Security at the ride entrance had no idea what I was talking about. I came back after riding XF, RB, and Viper, still didn't find a SR line. The FP employee let me right through twice. Once he rotated, the next guy made me go though the first part of the line, by the train station, then I used the FP lane at the checkpoint. I also observed the exit ramp being used for SR.
Anybody have any idea which is correct? I hope it really is like the first two times, as that was completely awesome and made more sense. If not, kudos to Mike for being super nice about it. :D

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

My guess is for awhile. If you notice all the train signage has been removed and the train station actually has Goliath signage on it.

Was this queue block being used? It was completely empty Sunday night.

Haven't been to the park in a couple years, but knowing the layout, I would think Goliath needs extra permanent queue lines. They can easily do that in front of the train station. They don't need a wide open area to enter the train station. Just put a pathway on the right side and put a sign up to enter for the train. Not a big deal in my opinion.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

^^^
They were using the main permanent queue block earlier in the day. I was very surprised when I rode Goliath at the end if the night Sunday that they weren't using the block anymore. Especially when the temporary queue was half full.

I was told single rider line is the flash pass line. If the line is in the area by the train you have to wait till the line gets to the flash line then get in the flash line. Still better then waiting the whole time.

Was this confirmed by Damion Nelson? It seems like he's been the only one to know of any of it.

I was told this by the people working the entrance that day. That was on the 19th.

That's kind of the explanation I got from an email back from guest relations. You still have to wait in the queue up to the point that you get to the flashpass gate. Then you can go up that side once you're at the gate. Otherwise you'll have tons of people claiming to be single riders and then magically not be single riders when they get up to the station loading area. There does seem to be some confusion amongst the staff about it though.

Took the plunge first thing this morning... Train 4, last row and all I have to say is WOW! I thought the ride was absolutely amazing. The drop kicks you right in the face as the weight of the train pulls you over the edge. Fast... So Fast... and all elements are in the perfect spots. Short? no way the intensity of this ride is killer and keeps going until the final brake. Loved the fact that there really is no where to hold on so no baby riders on this bad boy hehe. The only thing I could say I did not like was that my gonads got a little crushed with not enough room between the legs and lap bar. Best ride in the park now hands down! I can't wait to ride it again...

Does anyone else think that the Goliath layout is very similar to the X2 layout?

I haven't been yet (probably going tomorrow), but from all the reports I see it basically depends on who's running it and who you ask. If you can believe everything you read on the internet, sometimes you get to go straight to the front, sometimes you have to wait through the overflow line and then you can use the flash pass line, and sometimes there's nothing at all.

If you're referring to the "SFGAmworld.com" Facebook account, two hours later he reversed himself. Things that unofficial fan accounts post are not "announcements".

This isn't really related to Goliath but it happen on Goliath. Me and my friend were inside thrillseekers looking at our picture and someone got yelled at for flipping off the camera. They were told they can be ejected from the park for doing it. Can you get ejecyed from the park for flipping off the camera? I dont like where Goliath's camera is. It should be before or after the dive loop.

I know that this is at SFStL, but I assume it goes for all Six Flags parks. I saw a sign on American Thunder that said:
"Any use of profanity for the camera will result in park ejection or up to park ban" it was something like that. But yes, I wish the cameraman placed somewhere else.

You can get ejected from the park for just about anything. If the person has a Gold season pass, then this would ESPECIALLY be true, because the guest loses literally no money. Even if the person has no pass and they payed a ton of money for the tickets and maybe even Flash Pass, I wouldn't imagine the park would have any trouble in court for ejecting for petty reasons. At worst the park would just refund the guest their tickets. It's another thing for the park to ban you for a season or for life; they would probably want to be careful about that. But just a 1-day ejection? I don't think they worry much about complaints in that department.
