First call in, talk to a rep and ask if any positions are still avalible for minors in the dept you wanna work cause it may be filled. My b-day isnt till April so thats what I am going to do.
The person that made the comment about the Games dept. not in operations was right. It's under the "Retail" division, and I can see where they come from as the games are money makers.
I was a little disappointed at first becuase I didn't get a job in the dept. I wanted (rides), but now, I'm just glad I have a job overall. I'm looking forward to it as well.
It also made me happy that my skills are being put to use. Since I have a real stong background in Public Speaking (aka forensics, drama, musical type stuff) the head person with the games put me down for the racing games and the guess your weight, birthday, and age game. It's good to see my skills used for something. Plus they told me that the games dept. really doesn't have as much training as some of the other depts. do, but then again, I wouldn't know how much "training" is since this is my first year holding a job there.
However, for the 2005 season I'd be looking to switch departments anyhow.
Well I went to apply yesterday and they said all the 15 year old positions and been filled so I filled out the application and did the pre screen thingy and they said i'd be on a waiting list. So I hope I get the job.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
Just out of curiosity,
What are my chances of getting a job at SFGAm being on a waiting list?
Will they let me know if I got the job some time before spring break since they asked me in the pre screen and on the application if I could work during spring break?
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/
Even if you dont have it by the start of the season they are always bringing more in mid season and September so dont do anything to take yourself off the list as they may call you in. Well I dont know about minors.
