So when are you going to get a picture of it and why hasn't the park said anything about the first piece of track arriving?

First, because he said it was his last day. The last couple years, the park has really cracked down on people being in the employee lot that don't have a reason to be there. Second, the park hasn't said anything about anything in a few days, so I'd say it's a case of PR not being there right now.

At last! Our park has some very nice looking trains! Love how they turned out! Lets hope we don't see any seat belts added to those beautiful trains!

They will have seatbelts. Let the complaining begin even though it won't effect the ride experience whatsoever.

You don't like the X-Flight trains ? They are cool looking in my opinion.

Seat belts wouldn't effect this ride one bit. However, Gary Pohlman did say that Goliath won't have seat belts. It doesn't really matter if they do decide to add them or not.

I am definatly excited for this new coaster!

Will Goliath have Flash Pass in 2014?
Or is that too soon for a new ride?

The trains look great, all they need is some track.
I hope to see some vertical construction at least by Christmas time.
Late November might not see vertical construction.

163 days!? How do you know about that? There should be a countdown clock for Goliath on this website!

Oh I thought the 163 days was till Goliath opens. I heard that Goliath will probably NOT be ready on opening day.

We will probably have a better idea the closer it gets, a lot of it depends on how "wonderful" our winter is. I know RMC would like it open at the beginning, we will just have to see.

To (kind of) answer a few questions:

Hank Salemi said that they won't release an official opening date for the ride until around spring because the park isn't sure how fast construction will go this off season. A lot of that depends on if this winter will be mild or not since winters around here are very unpredictable. I would say late May or by mid-June since the terrain is easier to build on than Outlaw Run and the construction crew has more workers than what they had at SDC. What I'm saying is that I don't expect construction to take as long as Outlaw Run even though Goliath has more track.

About The Flash Pass question, all Six Flags has said is that it's in consideration. They are going to be using Iron Wolf's existing queue and possibly expand on it to add one more queue block.

Ok. One other question: What kind of rider capacity can Goliath support per hour? Is there an estimate from RMC or the park? 700-800 riders per hour with two trains?

I'm not sure. I would think the capacity should be pretty decent considering the loading/unloading is fairly simple unlike most wooden coasters where the seats are hard to get out of and the seat belts sometimes get stuck or you have to readjust them. On top of that, the ride itself is fairly short in duration so it should be quicker than most wooden coasters.

So let's see, it's a six car train with 4 seats to a car (2 rows each) that is 24 riders per train.

Now Goliath has two trains, unless they're keeping a third one secret from us. But for this estimate I will go off two.

2 trains = 48 riders.
One full train (24 people) takes about a minute and 30 seconds? (I'm adding an extra 30 seconds from station departure to the top of the lift).

90 seconds equals one ride for 24 people.
3,600 seconds in one hour.
3,600 divided by 90 is 40.
(That's 40 rides with full trains in one hour).

40 x 24 = 960 people per hour.

Theoretically based off numbers Goliath could output at it's maximum 960 people per hour. Give or take a few numbers and other issues that might arise. That might help in getting a long three hour line to move fast.

Could we possibly have gone vertical? Probably not but at least there is the crane thing there and something black behind it, but I a unsure about what it is.
