From the parks Twitter "@SFGreat_America: Don't forget to say goodbye & take one last spin on Ragin' Cajun. Ragin' Cajun will be be leaving the park once the season ends. #FinalSpin" It only took them long enough to actually announce it's closing and removal. I guess late is better than never though, because they announced the closure and removal on Twitter three hours before it closes.
I would say that the park putting the tombstone in the Six Saints Cemetery (as long as you're smart enough to put 2 and 2 together) was advertisement that it was going, going, gone!

So then most of the people that visit the park probably didn't know it was leaving then.
Now we will only have 2 yellow coasters right next to each other instead of 3, lol. Six Flags America has pretty much become Great America's dumping ground.
This ride has the slowest moving line in the park. It's fun but not worth the wait. While waiting all 3 trains got stuck in the brake runs. Hope we get a max air type ride.
Between the grave stone and Hank Salemi confirming the ride's removal during Goliath's announcement day, we already knew it was leaving for Six Flags America. If it was a bigger attraction, the park probably would've posted more stuff about it being the final season at the park.

I think it's interesting that the preview for the ride at SFA shows 2 adults and 2 older children per car.....which I couldn't even tell you the last time that was acceptable at GAm

I wouldn't mind a Max Air either. I disagree that Revolution = Max Air. Yes, Max Air does have some spinning, but it's more about the height rather than the rotation. Revolution is a Huss interpretation of a Wisdom Gravitron / Dartron Zero Gravity in my opinion, and different than Max Air. Better than even Max Air, I think the KMG version is the best. Through Chance, KMG does sell bigger models, but I do think that the carnival versions look better than for instance the Chance / KMG "Revolution" at Dorney Park.

lol, I know. It just wouldn't surprise me because it could be marketed like crazy just like Green Lantern out at Magic Mountain was and it would fit like a Glove in Cajuns old spot and draw traffic to the Food stands and games in that area. Personally I'd love to see a Ferris Wheel go there with a nice lighting package on it, something we really lack.
The capacity for a Zac Spin is horrible, but the way I see it, Cajun replaced a suspension bridge which offered no capacity. Even though cajun had horrible capacity it still added capacity because it replaced something which wasn't a ride. Never the less, I'm happy to see it gone finally ending the 2 wild mouse in one park thing, lol. I really hope Six Flags puts a High Capacity Ferris wheel in it's spot something our park really lacks. The park has been built up so nicely over the past 4 years but that's still a major attraction that we don't have

John Krejniak said that wherever a Ferris Wheel goes, it's something to add to the skyline. So, you'll probably see a Ferris Wheel more towards the freeway.
