They usually give one final teaser on the day before the announcement
I smell something fishey with that sign... 1. Why on earth would SF management post something newsworthy like that out in public? 2. Usually castmember special events are more private, with "reminders" only posted backstage 3. I have never heard of ERT available only to certain ride ops 3. NOT TO JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS but, why did the OP only post a cropped picture of the sign? (do we even know it was taken at the park?) Or, who knows, it could just be SF playing with us...
I wasn't going to post this photo because I knew it would cause a frenzy, but there were a bunch of carpenters over by Eagle today. They appeared to just be looking at something, as the ride was still operating.
If PR really knows how to mess with coaster nerds, this sign NEEDS to be in the next teaser
I wonder if they will redo the blue side for 2014 and then redo the red side next year for 2015 instead of doing everything at once. We may see a flat ride such as a SkyScreamer paired up with this for next year if they're doing just one side.

The issue with doing Red side later is this. If Blue side goes into the Ampitheater area as the markings suggest, I don't see how they could do anything comparable on Red side because it is absolutely as close to Washington St as will ever be allowed.

They could try putmthemracing aspect into it again and have the red do the same twists and turns as blue

But when you get to the top of the last staircase, you can choose which one you want to ride
No. I also love Batman but we already have one. There is no need to double it.
I really hope they don't remove any part of American Eagle. It's had a long run at the park and deserves to stay as the state it was originally built (besides replacing wood and track). If anything, RMC topper track

I love American Eagle as is. Changes do scare me but I would be open to them. It is possible they could be better. Big risk though. If they do a change I do hope they only change one side so you at least have a choice between the classic and the changed one.
Another idea: igNIGHT this year was a show event that went well. From what I've heard the gp received it pretty well. What if the Southwest amphitheater is not being removed but rehabbed. It would have been nice for igNIGHT to have seating. The Amphitheater could seat a ton for a big show. I don't see anything right now that points to this. Just a random brainstorm.
Changes to eagle do not add up. Zoning meeting + late arriving survey marks + what hank said about redoing eagle makes no sense. Marking for xflight was there years before the announcement not weeks. I dont know what the markings are but I dont think they have anything to do with the new announcement.
My gut still tells me zoning meeting = sky screamer.

Yeah, I've been wondering why they didn't put igNight in there in the first place. Think, the Amphitheater holds up to 3,000. They have a large, blank area that could be used for expansion. Also, less ride closures. SW Amphitheater is a PERFECT location for igNight, it just needs to be refurbished and added onto.

Okay, Where was this exactly posted?! Because its not like them to just post things in the station. If it was in the ride op's booth then you better believe that its not there to mess with us. Also, Many of the sections (East, North, West, and South) Have all each had a "Ride Night" For their members, so it really doesn't surprise me that it would be in the station. With that being said has anyone thought of "Last chance to ride Eagle Blue" as meaning for the season???
EDIT: Remember the 2nd part of the video? There were red side eagle cars, and RC cars. I think that David taking pictures of the trophy was just a distraction from the real hint.

When you get to the top, and you hear that click, you better hang on, because your coming down quick!
^^ The issue here is that those "Section Ride Nights" are hosted by the Leads of that section, but are open to the entire Rides Department. There has never been an event open to only one single ride crew

Hmmm...Well, to be fair, I haven't even seen that poster anywhere in park ops at all. So that just has me stumped.

There were at least 3 or 4 of them in the station on the posts on the exit side that would be facing the gates. The one I took the pic of was at the back of the train next to where you put your loose items. They were clearly visible and lots of people were looking at them as they exited the ride
If they were that visible it has to be some kind of joke. They wouldn't put that out there for everyone to see. This makes no sense what so ever. Is anyone going to the park tomorrow? I want to know if they are still there or not.
