/\Yes he did.

This is GREAT! The only thing I don't like is B:TR is getting painted, I love that rusty look!

"Batman: Will be getting a new paint job. The new look is expected to be completed by opening day and will include yellow, so bye, bye all-dark batman. The exact setup of the colors was not made clear."

Sounds like it'll look like this: http://rcdb.com/installationgallery552.htm?Picture=4

I'm keeping my mind open, I'm not going to hate it on principle... but that really sucks. It'll probably fit the area a lot better than Batman Blue would, but our Batman rocks so much as-is.... oh well. I think I'll be spending a lot more time out of the Southwest next year...

/\ Yeah that's what most of the B:TR's will be painted like sometime (even SFAW painted their Batman!!)

NOOOO!!! Yellow Batman. He's the "Dark Knight" not the "bright yellow knight". I like the all black paint scheme so much better. Other than that, all of those changes sound good, especially the extended hours for season pass holders and the newly revamped orleans place.

I hope Batman just gets yellow rails and stays black. I can't say a all yellow Batman would look great, cause I don't think it would.

All the other changes though are awesome, way to go Tim Black!

If they did it that way, then it would look like the B:TR in New Orleans which I personnaly think looks pretty cool. All yellow is too muck though in my opinion.

SFGA 11 wrote:My only question is what type of ride would Jesters Wild Ride be?

The discription of the ride I read in the article on http://www.sixflagsnews.com it sounds like the new Disk-O ride.

RagingBullDude13 wrote:What will the 'King Chaos Ride' be?

The name is a give away. It also says in the article. Its a chaos.

Papas wrote:The frisbee looks like crap like all frisbee's, but its something I guess.

The frisbee looks good. The artist did a good job on the rendering.

Im dissapointed in the wild mouse addition. I like the flat addition a lot. I think the balloon ride should have been placed in Hometown Square where the picture taking section is on the other side of DV.

If they are re-doing all of Orleans Place, are they moving Condor and Ru Le Dodge? Nothing was mentioned about these.

I can't wait to see this next year!!! They really think they can get all of these projects done by May?

I too also hope Vu can be running opening day as well.

SFGAmFreakForLife- I meant Frisbee's are crap not the artist rendering.

And Condor and Rue are not going anywhere.

:D This is definitely the greatest news we've heard over the offseason! I can't imagine our Batman being all yellow so i hope it's just the rails. But also a camouflage deja vu? That is just weird sounding. But i guess AS LONG AS IT'S RUNNING! :D

Most of thoes spots could be rubbed off, I saw people writing their name on the lighter spots and it just revealed normal colored paint.

Well everything sounds good except the batman paint job. Also,
DID ANYONE ASK ABOUT THE RUMORED FLOORLESS AND NEW LAND OF 05'?
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

From coasterbuzz:

"Just got back from No Coaster Con.....

Ragin Cajun-Spinning Wild Mouse, yes, we knew
Big Easy Balloons, yes, we knew
King Chaos- Huss TopSpin, yes we knew
Jester's Wild Ride- who knows, the picture didn't really give a good idea, just shows a "Mardi Gras Float", BUT also described the ride as a ride for ALL ages....

Revolution, in place of Ameri-go-Round, yes we know

**IF SOMEONE CAN SHOW ME HOW TO POST PICTURES, I RECEIVED A PRESS RELEASE CD, AND I HAVE PICTURES OF ALL THE RENDERINGS OF RIDES IF YOU WANT TO SEE**

-Jeff-

Dont forget the re-painting of Demon, original color...and New Batman colors for 2004.
Black supports, grey track and YELLOW rails, ala SFNO.
Sounds interesting..."

Wow, this is awesome! I like the idea of the new paint jobs... but I still love BTR's black rusty look. The coasters after dark thing sounds really awesome, I'm gonna try to get my parents to let me do that! It's highly unlikely though... :( This is going to be an awesome year.

Am I the only one who thinks the whole yellow rails and black track looks ugly? When I first saw pictures of B:TR at SFNO I thought it was rust! It looks horrible in my opinion. Maybe if they use a different color yellow instead of that brownish/yellowish color they used at SFNO it will look better  . I'm still hoping for the yellow track/purple supports  .

I agree yellow looks bad in general on BTR, but since it is going to be painted yellow in some way, i'd rather have it yellow track/purple supports rather than yellow rails/black track.

Once again, I do agree yellow and B&M BTR's look bad BUT since we are definately getting a yellow BTR, i'd rather it be yellow track/purple supports.
