^^The Haunted Trail is all for the Haunted House really.

Went in for my interview the other day. From the minute I walked in the door, the Six Flags hiring staff was extremely nice and friendly until the minute I left. I have only been to a few interviews in the past, but this is the only one I felt completely comfortable throughout the whole thing.

I have a strange feeling, judging by seven sins and the houses last year (which both were done by the park by the way, JPM had nothing to do with those steaming piles) that this year isnt going to be too great. It seems like the more the park tries to do on their own, the worse it gets. I remember going when FF first started there and JPM controlled everything, it was a damn good time. Then, over the years, as the park started trying to do things on their own and trying to fix what wasnt broke to begin with, it has progressively gotten worse and worse. I really cant wait to see what happens this year.
Isnt Mayor Slayer owned by JPM? Why is the park still using him on the sign in the front of the park if he isnt their property and not even going to be there? And the orange faced demon thats everywhere too. If they are all trademarked property of JPM, why is the park using them? Wonder how long it takes til someone gets sued.

Forget these haters "Oh its gonna suck, it's gonna suck.." Just go and find out for yourself! Jeeez. Quit assuming things and bringing everyone elses hopes and expectations down because YOU think it's going to suck. You really registered on the forum just to say negative things about an event that isn't even OPEN yet?!?!
Have a take and don't suck, it's the Jim Rome Show!

I think the decorations are going to be much better this year in regards to hopefully, there is an Area 51 better area, but I think the scaractors will be less this year due to Six Flags firing so many people. They fired 140 people in the company, and do you really think they are going to add that many scaractors when they just let so many people go, and are worried about saving money?

^ There is a huge difference between cutting full-time positions that have a salary, and hiring people for 2 months of hourly wages.

I mean its free, so I hate it when people get their hopes up for anything thats free, such as this haunted trail. I mean its free, of course its not gonna be really scary. You get what you pay for!

I heard on other forums that they aren't ever going to dye the water red again, or if they do, it won't be for a very very long time. Crossing my fingers for red water this year or next year at least!! :? :x :|

Cannot wait! Frightfest 2010 is 9 days away and counting!

Look, i didn't just register here to "bring everybody down". I just found this site, and voiced an opinion. I thought that's what these forums are for, gaining info and voicing opinions. Obviously i was wrong. I honestly hope it gets better this year. Its about time the fright was put back into fright fest. I just hope the park knows what they are doing. Sorry Mr. SUPERFAN. Yes, I'm a noob here, but so were u at one time.

So, I live in Illinois. Supposedly the Mayor, Trolls, Demons and a few others are going to be in Kenosha for an event up there. I love the Mayor, and the trolls are just plain fun. I wish I didnt have to go so far to see them. Is the park doing anything to replace these characters?

I know they always dye the water red in front of the Colombia Carousel, I meant I'm hoping they dye the water red for the water rides, assuming they even open the water rides. I know none of the water rides were open during last year's Frightfest. If they are closed again this year, then yeah, it would be a waste of time and money to even dye the water for the water rides then.
