This really sucks. I don't care for the water park so a water park expansion is not something to look forward to.

I really don't like the idea of an expansion. If they do expand it, their last chance of adding a ride without removing anything else is gone. Except for a small ride/coaster where splash water falls was.

Hey it's vprlvr456, ok so I don't think chang is going anywhere anymore. Didn't they have problems with Kentucky about the ride, and maybe weber decided they should just give it back. But I really don't get how people are assuming sfgad is getting just because we aren't

Their is also Trailblazer they can add a flat over there with nothing taken away. Really, though they could move the Water Coaster like they had at Kentucky Kingdom (in the regular park), and place it in the Splash Water Falls area.

A waterpark expansion would be nice to families, but I think we are really due to for a big thrill ride to grab the attention of teens and adults more. Notice, a lot of the family rides they've been adding never seems to have big lines, or some of the time no lines at all. I'm not counting Whizzer and Demon either because that's something everyone (almost) still loves to ride. Most of the family ride's lines start to decrease as they get older where as thrills rides, usually no matter how old they get still have decent sized lines.

Even if Chang doesn't come through, even a water coaster would be nice. I also wouldn't doubt HH being separated sometime soon from the actual park.

I heard about the mega looper, I was thinking maybe something more like this for the chang area or maybe the splashwater falls area if some of it goes over the paths with nets.

Booked out -huh. It says they have only 2 roller coasters for 2011. That isn't that many really if you think about it. And when the Dark Knights came out, they were going to 3 Six Flags parks plus if Mack had anything else going on that year which they did - They had a ride called Götterblitz, and a ride like Splash Water Falls.

Really, though this isn't a rumor at all. That comment seemed just like a suggestion.

^I think it was the stupidiest idea ever to think hey we are putting in another stand-up coaster when the other one people go and ride, and think that ride is terrible. I think the reason why people are so disappointed is because we have 86 pages from a year ago about this ride. Six Flags never said until the last meeting anything about Six Flags Great America getting Chang. All they said was that Chang was going to go to another Six Flags park. It's people looking for stuff like Chang's trains in the video, and looking for track in areas of the park, that have made this is a major blow, and instead of thinking hey it's not such a great business decision to bring Chang, it's the disappointment of how much they wanted it.

I'm no longer believing any rumors about chang. Until I see construction at SFGAm, or I see Great Adventure tearing down GASM. I will assume it's going to Great America. I don't care if your best friend who's a ride op told you what's going on, news flash, people can lie!

I am very disappointed that Chang is not coming now. I was one of the few people here that was excited it was coming. Hopefully, they will give us a new coaster in 2011. We never do the water park, so I was really hoping for a new big coaster. Dreaming of a dive coaster at SFGA one day!

I was hoping for it too, and hopefully we will get a coaster, and I never go to Hurricane Harbor also lol.
