Haha ok good to know. In all reality, I'd hope B&M gave us new trains. I love when they come out with custom restraint colors other than the typical yellow.

Like I said, don't know why it would be here. It would seem so cheap to give us everything USED.
Well put it into perspective, why should they spend money on something they already have? It can only make sense.
^^^ All those 2 pictures prove is that the 3rd Riddler train is not at the ride or in that specific area near Scream! There are many other places it could be, the most likely of which is the ride maintenance shop for rehab.
Yeah, While i'm hoping we'll get RR's train, I doubt it will happen. Besides, nearly all of the coasters were missing a third train. So maybe it was rehab day.
If your talking about Dameon, the guy who spoke at No Coaster Con, he runs the operations division of SFGAm. Kyle posted he is the director of entertainment because thats what he was when Kyle worked there. And RRv only having 2 trains on site means absolutely nothing, they havent actually run 3 trains consistently in years and I dont think I saw 3 trains anywhere near the ride at all last year.
Okay, We all need to take a deep breath, step away from the computer, maybe go for a jog or a bite to eat and calm down with all the pointless postings in this thread.
Its getting pretty ridiculous to see a few people basically hijack this thread with nothing that is worth discussing.
Ive done all those things plus showered got dressed again & uploaded pictures......This is all part of the fun though with all these random crazy opinions, but ugh youre right.
Then I hope more construction continues soon so we do have somethin to talk about.

Got back from the park a little while ago. No TR this time, I got like 2 pictures
Anywho, I noticed the pile of dirt is new I guess. Maybe some progress? Although, I am quite surprised they have yet to get any ground preparations going.
like Galvan said, TAKE A BREAK. We'll continue the discussion AFTER the Village meeting. You should know by now that Great America CANNOT start construction until approval.
I'm getting a little sick of the [Topic reply notification - "CHANG WATCH: The Official Topic"] Flooding my inbox anyways.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
Does anyone know the expected opening date of the ride? Probs summer but like august or july?
"Park staff later claimed that they were offered a hundred bucks a pop to try to the slide, but refused after seeing that test dummies often emerged on the other end dismembered. The looping slide was actually closed down for most of the park’s life due to these injury concerns."
My question is, why with so much hard winter construction, don't they start erection earlier while its still in the warmer months. I remember back in late july2006, when I visited CP, they had vertical construction on Maverick already. I felt that was smart. Not only can they get a lot more done with soft ground & whatnot, it got a lot of guests excited for what was comin next year! ...& with "you never know with SF" isn't the only ride there was a problem with not opening on time was DejaVu?!
But I don't think that it will be an opening day opening. I could see something like Mid-May.
I don't think a lot of you realize that there is a LOAD of things to do within about 4 months that the park has. They have October-November and March-April. I'm sure they have a few days in February, and December, but those make up for the weekends. They have vertical construction, and they have to set up all of the systems involved with the ride. Then allow for two weeks of testing and such.
David I know, I as many on here prob worked at a park. Even with rides that have been open for years there's much to do on re-opening it. With any ride you have electrical wire work above & under ground, all the safety systems, water piping etc. I don't know about SFGAm but CP, each ride had running water to clean your ride area or get water to drink. There's a heap of stuff to go into a ride.
