Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

It's an indication of buried wires, meaning don't dig here. Don't forget about all the lights in the parking lot.

I know people don't want to believe until an actual announcement but right now, from what has been spotted and what is at the park, It's I would say a go that this coaster will open up at SFGAm in 2011 in the old SSA/Go Karts/piece of parking lot area. So that in of itself is great news. The Comed markings make sense in their placement because that is the area where the station house and lifthill will be.

The speculation will continue though on what this coaster is going to be themed to and whether it stays a standup or converts to a floorless.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

...As will all know how awesome it would be to see it as a floorless. :lol:

I'd rather have an awesome rethemeing and new paint job (Which it will get I assume after all it is a old ride which the park wants us to see as new) but if it does stay stand up I really think Iron Wolf will bite the dust come 2012/2013

If Wolfie DOES go, a piece or two should be donated to ACE, and to that museum. It really will be a sad day when Wolfie dies. But it does seem that the park wants to keep Iron Wolf for as long as possible.

Yeah, I'd be expecting Whizzer to leave first. As sad as it would be, it's going to happen eventually. There are only two of those coasters left in the world....Ours, and the other is in Columbia I believe.

I should ask DejaVu2001, he knows everything there is to know about the Whizzer....Nerd.

The area where Iron Wolf stands would be perfect for a new flat of some kind 2012/2013

Huss Frisbee? Really? That area seems perfect for a new woodie. I really can't see WHizzer going. That's such a compact space, what could go there?

All:

Just wanted to point out that a person on facebook called "Michal Slysz" posted what Galvan316 said really word for word in it his post in this thread on Tue Apr 27, 2010 9:45 am. No credit was given to this site, or Mike for the information.

He also "posted" the picture that I took and posted it as his own.

Here's the link to the fan page.

Not sure if we can do anything now, but I just wanted to pass this on to the group.

Just want to touch on markings on the ground, havent seen them myself but being in construction I can tell you.

Red = Electric (not necessarily ComEd, just buried live wires.
Blue = Water
Yellow = Gas
Orange = Telephone/Fiber Optics/Data/Low Voltage
Pink = Dig Here
White generally is Survey points but also covers just about anything else also.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder
Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping
Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073

Well didn't Galvan say they were Red? What else would Electric be needed in the parking lot for?

They left the post where I said in 2011 we will have 5 B&M roller coasters including a relocated stand up from SFKK. BTW, how similar is Chang (Can't wait for the name to change) to SFMM's Scream!?
