Am I mistaken? Can you use a season pass from St. Lois at Great America? If so, sign me up!

SFStL pass is good at SFGAm, same goes for the SFStL parking pass. Their parking pass is even good for preferred parking at SFGAm Last year I sorta cheated the system and ended up with a season pass with parking for like $65.

Use the current year season pass to get into the park this fright fest. Once inside the park find a ticket stub either on the ground or in a garbage can then use that to get the $29 upgrade to a season pass from a one day ticket. Then parking pass was $45. I may try that again this year when I'm there in 3 weeks. If you think about it it's really not cheating. Someone bought and paid for that one day ticket and by throwing away the stub/reciept they opted to not take advantage of the deal, and in doing so transferred it to me and the people I was there with :)

So correct me, its $70 or so for a Season Parking Pass? But only $64 for a Season Pass? I just cannot justify that! Even without, i cannot justify $15 for parking or $25 for parking! I just cannot i am sorry!

I bought a play pass at Magic Mountain for something like $55 and just made sure to go with people so we could split parking. In regards to not going next season, 2009 is going to be the first year I havent gone to SFGAm in like 15 years, if you dont want to go no ones going to make you.

^ You have to get the pass printed at the park you buy it at. Also, if lost, you must get it from the original park as well.

What the catch that I know of is that if you buy it from SFStL, you have to visit SFStL in order for them to activate it. You can't just go to SFGAm thinking, and oh they will let me in at first with a SFStL pass. You have to go SFStl, than any other park. If you get it from SFKK, you have to go to SFKK, and than you can use it any other park.

2002 was an important year for the park anyway as we had the last year of Shockwave operation and Sky Whirl died. Just sayin it was a bad year for fans of the park. Some still liked Shockwave.

I haven't skipped this season because Ive been to SFGAM 3 times this season. My group decided not to go at all in July only because Im sure it would of been insanely crowded. I am gonna go in a couple of weeks though now that the kids are goin back to school in like 3 weeks. :D

Ive gone to SFGAm about 8 times this year, im planning on going atleast 3 more times. plus i went to SFMM and SFSTl, so the season pass has been well worth my 65$. im definatley going to buy one next year regardless of our addition.

Sky Whirl was dead in 2000. That's 2 years later, and in 2002 Deja Vu was actually working the whole season compared to 2001 when it opened in October. I think 2002 was more worrysome of a year for the Whizzer. They had the sign ride the Whizzer before it gets taken down or something like that.

I don't know where you wrote it, but you said the park is more packed this year. Well, I don't know if I can agree with that, or not, but I base that ONLY on the parking lot / buses. The reason I say that is because I just see transition in the park as I said before. Dark Knight used to have really long lines, but not anymore so people are moving to other rides. You also have BB which not a lot of people not riding, and you have NO Pictorium plus no Theatre Royale. You think of Theater shows, and they eat people. You have people stuck in there for some 40 - 50 minutes, and remember they show up before the show even starts, and than when they take that stuff away, where are the people going to go to? Also, remember no Space Shuttle, and no Splash Water Falls, so I just say look at the parking lot because if you think it's more packed, it could be transition, and not really be more packed. It's a minor thing, but the Glow in the Park parade also closes down rides at night 30 minutes prior, so those people could potentially transition. You can even go way back, and the Southwest Territory Ampitheater for many years had a ton of people in there throughout the years, but you could say since than they have added more stuff around the park that offset those crowds in which that Theater lost.

Yes. Don't you hate it after the park closes after Halloween?? :( Im looking forward to Frighfest but after its over, its over. So everyone enjoy these last days of SFGAM. Looks like theres exactly 27 days that the park is open. After this week is over, SFGAM is only open first 2 weekends in September :( Then only friday-sundays in October for Frightfest. Man, its coming to a close so fast. Last time I went was in early to mid June. :x  I definitely need to go get my dose of SFGAM asap!! :o

Ilovthevu' wrote:What I find amazing is that even though the parking, and food is so high, they are only getting like maybe $43 in capita. I forgot the number, but it is shocking low with admission included in that, and parking split between people. With food lower, more people would buy it in the park.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Happier guests in the park means they might shell out more money on different things, which in turn means bigger profits for the park.

So amusement parks are not supposed to adjust prices to reflect things like, capital investments and inflation? If you have such an issue with the prices they charge, there is a simple solution; don't go Image[/quote]

I didn't say that, sure they should just like any other business operation; it's is just that they should do it reasonably u know stuff like not charging 3.00 for a 20oz bottle of Coke. It is not all prices, just some of them; I mean come on everyone has a gripe about one charge or another I'm sure u might have one as well. And the only reason I am not going to the park this year is because of scheduling conflicts with numerous people.
