Not everybody wants to switch into bathing suits to get wet. I guess all 4 water rides in the dry area should be removed according to you. Why does KI have a flume, a rapids ride, and a shoot the chutes? Why does Holiday World have a flume and a rapids ride? Both those parks include their water park with admission.
They serve a purpose.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

For us that refuse to rent a locker or just leave our stuff laying about at a water park, it is perfect. Odds are I will not go to Hurricane Harbor, but will ride all 4 water ride.
Almost 1 week away to the BB I thinking this weekend that All landscapeing is in, constuction fencing is maybe gone and hopefully water is in the boats are testing or by monday. Good weekend for more closeup photos of the ride.
I'm checking things out on Friday afternoon 3-5pm after all students left from Marketing Day. A time for walk-ons
Today- Thursday is open for Physics Day Student only.In-case people drive by see all the buses in the parking lot and the rides operating:!:
This ride looks so dinky! I don't why, but it just looks worse than I thought it would be. There is some red squid theming in the ride. Splash Water Falls wouldn't have been a better place to put this ride (more land). 4 boats still not in the trough yet (by SUF).
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Yup the 4 year old will be bored by how slow and boring it is after the first ride...seriously what a waste especially since deja was improving...never mind
Well. Many people have been telling me on youe and theme park review that they give SFGAM credit for giving a ride Universal Studios/Disney theming. Now I saw this ride today, and I actually thought it wasn't half bad. I mean, you will probably get really wet on this ride because it goes slow and there is a lot of time to get wet.
I think Buccaneer Battle is going to be successful because it's a ride for the entire family and it's an interactive ride whether your on the ride or just spraying riders from the walkway.

Deja Vu much? (I don't mean the ride)
That's what they said about TDK.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
^How is TDK interactive? in my opinion that ride was poorly marketed. It's supposed to be a fmily ride, but it was based on a pg-13 movie. And as we're learning recently, TDK didn't even have all of it's theming to begin with. But with Buccaneer Battle, I think it will be easier to market as a family ride because you can actually see the ride compared to TDK where some people may have been expecting something like Rock 'n' Rollercoaster.

I saw of the targets being tested yesterday. It does seem like you will get wet, probably soaked. There is water that comes out of the palm tree and you have to get wet. And I saw this target with a seagull statue and it shot water 20 feet in the air. I thought it was sweet. (Don't forget all people shooting you with water)
