I honestly wouldn't. For one, it would be an excuse not to build a better coaster in the future. Secondly, they have horrible capacity. The line for it was the length of Raging Cajun...and took the same amount of time to get through as raging Cajun. Plus you got off of it soaked, you basically feel like you just got out of a pool with your clothes.

flying super saturator is the same type of ride as roller soaker at hershey park and god that ride sucks (not to mention the horrible capacity)

kind of weird how FSS and roller soaker are both being removed in the same year

I thought roller soaker was pretty fun, though I still think they should have called it the Hershey Squirts.

Dont think it's being removed, rapids ride at Hershey has been removed though

^Hershey is not removing Roller Soaker! That ride is immensely popular among all ages out there. I do agree with you guys in that it does have horrible capacity, and you do definitely get soaked on it, but they are really cool and fun for people on AND off the ride! I think it would go great at Indiana Beach or a smaller park, I just noticed it was for sale and wanted it out here, since it was one of my favorite coasters at Hershey (not for the actual coaster part, but for the fun experience!)

^Just the Canyon River Rapids...and even then, it will be replaced with a lazy river, the wavepool is going in the middle of the lazy river. Which, if anyone else has been to Hershey, you would know that there is a rather large space in the middle of the Canyon River Rapids to add the wave pool in. I think it's a smart idea for sure, Roller Soaker style rides belong in waterparks more than amusement parks, but then again, i think the same for rides like Roaring Rapids too, nobody likes walking around soaked all day unless you're in a bathing suit!

I don't mind getting soaked at Great America. You dry off very fast in the summer months and helps cool you off in the humidity. That is why I love roaring Rapids. That and how fun it is. And unpredictable.

How about just putting in a new small pond in the SWF area and putting some benches around it. Add a duck or two or let people bring in some remote controlled toy boats and have a nice little rest area maybe create some shade...I would love that! I think every park needs a small pond just for the beauty...seriously.

^That would be nice, but don't you think that it would be annoying having to listen to those cars while you are sitting on a bench trying to relaxe. I don't no but to me if I sat there and listened had to listen to those cars it would drive me crazy!

I would love to see the Sky Whirl (tweety cages) make a come back, I never got a chance to ride it but i think they should bring it back because like the condor it is like a signature ride. They should also bring back the haybaler (himalaya), and the Trailblazer. They ripped it out to put in a cold stone creamery do they really need more places to but food?!?!? Besides for what they are charging you could go to a cold stone creamery by your house and spend waaaayyyyy less than you would at six flags! If they would not bring back Splashwater Falls Then they should put in another splash boat ride but update it and maybe even have a double drop, or even a higher drop like the Perilous Plunge. Oh and by the way there will be another water ride Bucaneer Bay (or something like that) It is a pirate adventure with super soakers built into the ride ships.

Trailblazer was removed for maintenence integrity reasons, as was Sky Whirl (and Splashwater Falls & Shockwave) and none of those rides will ever make a comeback. The Cold Stone is not even in the same spot as Trailblazer was. Theres a whole topic about the Splash Battle on the forums.

Just to tell you all. Like two weeks ago I heared a rumor from the grapevine that what used to be Deja Vu is going to be Buccuneer Battle. A Brand new water ride that allows riders to soak each other from a Ship based boat thing and not only are they allowed to soak each other but they can soak people walking by and basically everything that moves. That comes to life in the '09 season. As for Splash Water Falls rumor has it that it will also become another water ride because we already have the pumps and everything already there. Honsetly they have no idea what they are doing with that spot yet. They just figured water ride. A little heads up I believe the next thrill coaster that will come out is going to be in three or four years and I think it is supposed to be based on either spiderman or the incredible hulk. Thats all I know so far. I'll stay in touch if I know anything.

Buccaneer Battle is currently being discussed here:

Six Flags rides are themed to DC Comics, not Marvel.

When I was a boy and first say Batman. I was saying I wonder what Spiderman would be like. But they never really built anything. But now I know why.

I say leave the coaster's in the park and the water rides in HH!! Just say no to water rides in the park. I would be for more water rides if we didn't have HH. We need a new coaster, Look at the Ad's in the q-line showing all the coaster's. If it's all about family fun why aren't they showing all the flat's and kid's rides in their Ad's. Most 10 - 12 yrs olds are big enough to ride the big rides. We Need a new 54' coaster not another 42' DK.

Something tells me we might not get a new 54' thrill ride until 2011 even. What we may say for 2010 is a flat or two in the SWF area or HH expansion. I feel they will take their sweet time spending the big mullah on a new coaster until they absolutely have to. The Dark Knight is a coaster, even if it it is for kiddies. That means we just got a coaster so we may have to wait 2 or even 3 years for another.

Six Flags is so messed up. Why are they doing all of these small small that cost a lot of money to try and save the park, when they could just add a roller coaster. They are already 2 billion in debt, whats another 10 or 15 million to them?

I'm not going to be all like, 0MFG! Six Flags just got a NEW Johnny Rockets, WE HAVE TO GO!!!!! It's more like, HOLY SH*T, SIX FLAGS JUST GOT A HUGE NEW ROLLER COASTER. WE HAVE TO GO RIDE IT NOW.

Like, all of the TDKs were HUGE wastes of money, especially for SFGAm. We already have a similar roller coaster. Are there any other theme parks out there with 2 wild mouses? (Besides twin ones).

We need a Gyro Swing in SWFs area with an entrance in the walkway under demon, a new ride by that huge unused stage in Southwest to get people over there, and a new roller coaster, and we're set. Bam, this park will make money. And Six Flags sucks at marketing too. I want to see them try and market BB.

They do know how to market. I saw a Dark Knight advertisement almost every day in the summer. Though, they ALWAYS forget to market the WHOLE park not just Hurricane Harbor. People still love Bull, Superman, Batman, remind them they are still there. That stage where Spygirl was is useless even if a few concerts happen a few times here and there it is a waste of space and the park would be better off with a flat or two in that area. Anything. They didn't spend much money telling people Sean Kingston or Jordin Sparks were at the park this summer. If I hadn't gone I wouldn't know. So, yeah. Market the WHOLE park Six Flags. Be proud of everything you have. Bankruptcy is only a few short years away.
