By my logic Six Flags would be able to get a crane back there, even if it's not near a service road. They still had to build it somewhow.
Theyd have to park the crane on the midway and unless they want to close off that area of the park for who knows how long that project would take it seems to make more sense to just not use the holding brake. Its been done before, there was a picture on this site of a crane working on the LIMs on the back tower in spring 2003 in the SUF media day update but that links not working anymore. V2 at SFDKs holding brake has been off since like 2002.
So instead of the ride just plain sucking, it now sucks terribly?
I guess I can see that.
Though in the grand scheme of things, I think it was for the best I stopped going to the park in May, park sounds like a real hole this year. Cant wait for fright fest to see it first hand

Yeah, is my opinion. I never cared for the coaster, may stem from everyone saying how awesome SUE was, and people hyping it beyond belief, then I take my first ride and it's basically a pirate ship on a track and the anticipointment was overflowing out of me.

I love the sound the break makes. Wicked grinding sound, you can here it in the parking lot. I don't think it makes the ride, to me the break takes a way from the free fall. Rode it yesterday and thought it was better ride but still missed the break sound. Back car is the only seat i ride , love the free fall. This why i miss Deja vu so much Loved the back car free fall down tower 1.
I have been on 4 of the Intamin impulses and they just don't do anything anymore...with the exception of Wicked Twister. But even that I wont wait more then 5 mins for.
Personally, I think the ride is better without the pause. Because every time I rode it I would always want a "mis-grab" and now I can get one every time I go on it.
Yeah there is a lot of stress on the track. Before the extra supports were added the track would REALLY sway. You could see it sway from across the park. And yes, if the train does not go high enough, or goes too high it wont grab...to protect the LIM and the track. The same way Deja Vu would miscatch.
Good. I would always see the towers shaking, and it was kinda scary to think about. And I hope that doesn't happen to me when I ride it. That is my favorite part of the ride. That, and going through the station the second time. You fly through, and if you look to your right at the people, it looks like you are traveling through time. IT'S SO COOL.
And for some reason, V2 is one of my most favorite rides at the park. Blasting to high speeds and stuff like that gives me huge rushes. That's why I want to ride TTD or KK so bad. I rode Incredible Hulk, and the blast into the zero g roll just gave me this huge rush, and I just throw my hands up and enjoy it. It's weird, I just love being calm, and zooming off to 65mph. I just wish V2 had more of a launch, instead, in the beginning it like only goes halfway up the first tower. Whatever, still gets me that rush. Haha, I sound like a crack addict.

My God, please use punctuation when you post. You can also edit your posts so you don't have to double post to correct yourself and, your idiocy remains unknown.
^Something makes me think that V2 won't be closed for FF. Especially with B:TR's current condition, I don't see it being closed just because of the holding brake.
