Wow, Magic Mountain PASSED on a roller coaster? That's like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers passing on a quarterback.

OK don't even start with that! I just bought Bucs season tickets for like 2 grand and if Farve would have went to them, I could've made my money back, AND THEN SOME! I was pretty pissed that day.

why the hell would you buy bucs season tickets when you live in naperville?

^ I was born there, and raised until age four, and my parents had been long time fans, so they signed for the waiting list when we lived there. Over the years, we moved around a lot and ended up in Naperville. We got a letter a couple of months ago saying that we were first on the list. We planned on selling most of them., and going to Florida for one or two games.

Also we have plenty of relatives down there.

I want something so that County Fair is not so deserted anymore. Such a waste though with 2 car rides in the SWF area though. That classic car which I forget what its called and go karts. better than nothing I guess. That dried up pond looks horrible.

They better do somthing with SWF's pool because right now it is just sitting there and it looks very bad. If they are not going to use it for anything they need to get rid of it because it is ugly!

Gotta say that I don't even notice it when I walk by, so I don't know how you can all complain that it's ugly.

Exactly. The Antique Cars pretty much block it. Just be glad they tore it down. It could be SBNO right now, just another eyesore for our park.

So yeah, I'd agree that it's good they took it down.

TDK is hard enough to look at.

^ A big steel gray box? Couldn't they at least theme it to a warehouse or something?

They painted the one at Six Flags Great Adventure. It was a blue sky with clouds on it. It might not have anything to do with the ride but it is still better then a grey box.

I know or something goes in both spots, if they really want to add something. Add something everyone will like not certain age groups like i've already said in a different post.

That's because theirs isn't as hidden as ours is.

I was at Cedar Point the other day. Maverick was awesome! Why not put something like that and Fahrenheit that could connect those spots?

^ Compared to SFGAdv's it is. At SFGAm you walk up to the entrance and don't really notice a huge gray box, at SFGAdv, they just plopped down a big gray box with no trees or buildings or anything surrounding it. And SFGAdv's only has one wall painted.

Well, I just got back from Six Flags Great Adventure and I didn't think the paint job looked much better. They only painted the one wall and it is smack dab in the middle of the park. The one wall painted, while the unpainted walls are visible as well make it look extremely tacky and cheap. And whoever said that they should at least theme it as a warehouse...how is it NOT themed like a warehouse now? I think it's an ugly building by itself, but where it fits in works for me on this one....it's still not as bad as Tomb Raider or Flight of Fear at Kings Island.

As for replacing Vu and Splashwater, I think whatever replaces splashwater should work hand in hand with the Great American Raceway. Whether it be a rumored go-kart track to race alongside, or a new coaster and/or thrill ride that travels over it, it should give the cars a little more to look at then just a dried up hole in the ground. As for replacing Vu, it honestly doesn't matter to me, I'm just happy to see an empty space filled up with more than a pay to play basketball game.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter :(

^ Ya, anything is better then a basketball game. I just really don't want a splash battle ride, but it is better then nothing.

Anyone notice the projected batman sign that shines on TDK at night? You can see it well while waiting in line for SUF. But either way, the box still needs for decorating.
