Not sure why, as the contest is suppose to run between June 20, 2008 and June 29, 2008, according to the official rules. Maybe something caused the contest to end early?
In any case, the contest is for tickets (90 people get 2 passes each) to a screening of the Dark Knight movie to be shown on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Marcus Majestic Cinema in Waukesha, WI. No time was given as to when this screening would take place. Each winner would also recieve 2 passes to Six Flags Great America. However, you will not get your SFGAm tickets unless you show up for the movie.

A few key points from the Official Rules, quoted below
The DARK KNIGHT ("Promotion") will begin on June 20, 2008 at 12:01 AM CST and end on June 29, 2008 at 11:59 PM CST.
The Promotion is open to all legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (the “Promoter”), its corporate parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, and the members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings or children) or households are ineligible to participate or win. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void outside the United States and where prohibited.
Only one winner per household is permitted in any Promoter contest.
Entrants are required to provide truthful information and Promoter will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Promoter will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Promoter will also delete any entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning the email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Promoter and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Promoter. The contest administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Promotion. For purpose of this Promotion, a “Day” shall begin at 12:00:00 a.m. CT and shall end at 11:59:59 p.m.
VIA POSTAL MAIL – Mail-in entries must be received by Sunday, June 29th, 2008 and should be mailed to: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Marketing Department, Dark Knight Sweepstakes, 333 W. State Street, Milwaukee, WI 53203. Please allow sufficient time for postal deliveries. Entry can be completed with in-paper form or on a 3” x 5” index card. Each entry by mail must include the entrant’s first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, and telephone number.
PRIZES
90 passes for two to a screening of the Dark Knight movie will be awarded at a retail value of $17.00 each and 90 passes for two will be awarded for Six Flags Great America valued at $80.00 each. Winners MUST be present at the movie screening in order to receive the passes for Six Flags Great America. The Dark Knight movie will be in theatres & IMAX everywhere on July 18, 2008.
