Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I was thinking about this. American Eagle Blue backward had enough success in 2002 that they did it again in 2003. But do you think they'll just keep it that way: foward and backward? I really like the idea and it gives a whole new experience. the lines for both are usually the same most of the time, and I know I always ride it backwards. So do you think they'll keep it the same next year, the year after,...?

I don't think they will change it up anytime soon. It's doing good the way it is, and It can be used to draw crowds. And Six Flags needs to draw crowds.

i think it will stay backwards...it gives the rider more of a choice...go on once forwards, then get back in line and do it backwards

Yeah, aero took the words right out of my mouth... I enjoy both forwards and backwards a lot. They give different experiences and they're incredible.

It seems that blue is pretty popular. I think they will keep it that way for a few years.

Also, couldm't it consider the American Eagle as two coasters? If one is backwards and one faorwards?(Aren't the two sides different lengths?)

Yea I think it will stay for a while. I have been on both backwards and forwards but I would have to say I prefer forwards.

I sure hope they keep blue backwards... I love it so much, it's so exciting. I personally think forwards hurts, but that's just me.

I consider AE 2 different coasters. They have different layouts at the end, and both bestow compleatly different rides. I would have to stay with AE red though. The ride just seems better. (Sorry for turning this post into 'Which side do you like better on American Eagle?'
)

Until they turned Blue backwards I used to always ride Red. Now that its more unique with one forwards and one backwards I try to ride both side each day, back then I used to only ride Red when I went and only rode blue if I had time. I always thought Red was better, why though I couldn't tell you.
