The Biggest Fright Fest Ever?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby SFGAmDemon on September 9th, 2003, 2:22 pm
In the paper it said and I quote " this year Six Flags Great Amerca will offer some of the best screems on or off the rides. To make up for the last 2 years Six Flags said that they will up the sceam in Fight Fest. They will add 50 new themes and they hope to change some of the rides name to match the theme of the area. They said they will keep the same thing the park has offered in the past." Now lets hope this is true.See ya on the 11th!!!

I was at Fright Fest in 2001 and I think they changed Iron Wolf to Ware Wolf or something. And Had a new symbol with a wolf howling with the moon in the backround. Does anyone else know what I am talking about.

Last year was the only Fright Fest I can remember that Iron Wolf wasn't called Iron Werewolf. They were also missing the Southwest Scareatory sign for Southwest Territory and alot of other names that I can't think of right now. Im really looking forward to Fright Fest this year.

that sucked because they could even change the names of the rides because they were safe territories...

You know what would be cool if they did to DEMON is if they added the Demon Song back in the queue, made the waterfall red, have the old Demon sign back with the cage and the eyes. that would make fright fest for me.

Every year that I remember excluding last years so called "Fright Fest" the waterfall was red, with the scary noises that they used to always play every day when you go under the cliff formation.

Yeah that would be awesome. They should have changed the IW sign last year. The sign never scared anybody. Its just a sign! I cant believe they made FF so bad last year.

Last years Fright Fest did suck.. I hated the scare zones and nonscare zones... I hope they don't have them...BTW, this may sound a little corny but I thought of a name that they could call S;UF - Superman - Ultimate Fright. 8)

While most of the park last year was for the most part "not scary", they still went all out for Necropolis (picnic grove). That is the best place to be during Fright Fest in all the years its been there.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Necropolis was better in passed years. I still loved it though. Yeah it is the best place to be. Another good place to be is in LAFF.

I dig the Michael Myers music that they had going last year. It made a big impact on the theme.

The music definetly makes the experience better. I love getting out of my car and hearing it. That gets me really excited about being there.
