Who said it's gonna be wild mouse?
From Six Flags great America site:
....... Capacity: 32...... Hmmmm per trains? an hour? at once?
Other rides on SFGAm when they show capacity, they mean pph. hmmmm
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!
How do we know it's not replacing anything? I think it was demon boy on the last page who said it's not replacing anything, but it just said it was located in orleans place. I can think either where Bugs Bunny and Co is, or maybe the bourbon street cafe, maybe just west of superman back there, or behind theatre royale, or maybe replacing the theatre. I think we need some more details on this.

Just checked Mack's website...the only coaster with 32 person trains is their Powered Coaster, and with the suggested layout, I highly doubt it would be enclosed.
Just look at the photos of all the Mack mice I listed earlier. They have 6 different 180 degree hair pin turns, just like mentioned on the website. Also, the length of the ride mentioned on the website (1213 ft.) matches the lenghts of the Mack mice on rcdb.com. The evidence is that it's a mouse, but I would bet some people still won't believe it.
It will probably have 8 cars with 4 people per car (hence, that's where the 32 figure comes from).

Alright, yes it may be alot like Ragin Cajun but honestly.....who freaking gives a crap? It's a new roller coaster for goodness' sakes.....be thankful we're not getting Thomas World.
Wikipedia was right....what did I tell you?
It's a standard off the shelf portable Wild Mouse, but not just any standard off the shelf portable Wild Mouse, but a Off The Shelf Portable Wild Mouse IN A BOX!!!!!!!!
It will most assuredly be a Heavily-Themed, Totally-Immersive, Dark Ride ADVENTURE!

^ if it bites like Cajun does I won't go on it. I got a bruise from Cajun..im giving this ride one chance or it's ending up like Cajun, SUF and Wolf and Drop...rides I don't ride ever again.
Most of the coasters Mack makes can be placed indoors. Look at the costumer specific options toward the bottom of the page. Even just a wild mouse would be fun with theming though.
According to Roomers it going to be a Spinning Wild mouse with Controlled spinning so that they can spin you when they want to or move you in a direction of the scene. According to the Press Release which is not posted on this web sit. It says, "Will use storytelling, physical movement, video, sound and special effects"
I have mixed emotions about this news. On one hand, it's a new coaster that looks as though it will be highly themed, which is definately a plus. But at the same time, it's a wild mouse, and enclosed or not, we already have one, and the park has NEVER even run that ride at its full capacity. I have never seen more than five cars operating on a ride that was designed to use nine. Heck, I've never even seen any evidence that the park has more than six cars! Given that Great America has never run Ragin' Cajun at capacity, how can we be sure that they will ever run this ride at its full capacity? We already have three low capacity coasters and do not need a fourth. What we needed was a HIGH CAPACITY RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So while I'm thrilled that we're getting a new ride, I don't understand why it has to be a ride that is essentially redundant and low capacity, and provides yet another slow moving line for the guests to wait in.
I don't think the ride will open with the park. If you click on this link of six reasons to buy a season pass it sais you get to ride it before everyone else on May 21st. http://www.sixflags.com/greatAmerica/ti ... npass.aspx
Don't forget that Cajun can only hold 3 adults max. I hope they operate this ride much better than Cajun, though Cajun has great ops, the park limits their capacity big time.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.

SFGAm does have 9 cars for Cajun, and all 9 have run at some point in the rides history, although never more than 5 at a time. Ragin' Cajun is not capable of running 9 cars. The most it is able to run is 8. I think that this new ride will not have the same capacity issues that Cajun has. The reason Cajun has not run more than 5 cars is because of how the ride verifies the restraints are locked. If the car isn't balanced, the sensors dont line up, and they cant advance the car until the sensors line up. Sometimes, that can be hard to do, and if there were more than 5 cars, and they couldn't get it to advance, the ride will set-up.
Actually DejaVu2001, what you said is close... but not quite...
Cajun does have 9 cars, the max it has ever run is 6, albeit for a very short period of time for testing purposes. It can run 8 maximum, and the adult limit has to do with the weight limit on the cars. I'd have to look at the placard again but the max weight per car is only like 670 lbs. 4 average weight adults would be too close (in the park's opinion).
Also the ride doesn't set up with more than 5 cars, it just waits until the next 2 blocks are clear and then releases the car. It will only not release for a trouble light, stacking doesn't directly cause a trouble light.

Wow..this is a PORTABLE MOUSE...yes, with themeing, YES, within a building..but how can it NOT open until May 21st? How can it not open by opening day? I mean, the ride itself should take one to two days total to erect! I guess Shapiro isn't delivering on his promises to open new attractions on opening day. Tis very disappointing...
(that is, unless the ride has a soft opening..but considering that most things seems to open late at sfgam, I doubt it).
Disappointing honestly....our next coaster is ragin cajun not spinning in a building. Today honestly[to me] has been filled with great disappointments.
first hershey, now this. why another batman coaster? its nice to have a dark ride...but still...aah! ugh...
