Hey, I was in shock....I watched a coaster show on Discovery channel about a week ago and they actually had a couple of shots of Great America (Eagle and Ragin Bull). Now if we can only get them it visit for a actual segment.

Discovery Channel just aired the new "Extreme Rides 2003" this past week. It was a good show, it featured: Thrill Shot, Superman: Ultimate Flight (SFGadv), Top Thrill Dragster, Swat and a few other rides...I tuned in a bit late. It may rerun again soon though so be on the lookout for it.

I saw thw whole thing and got it on tape. It was pretty good. I dont remember them showing how they load Swat. I always wondered how they did it. I guess I have to watch the tape again.

I couldn't belive the pressure that Xcelerators hydraulic motor ran at. 4500psi was alot higher than I would have thought.
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull

"You and my baby aint nothing but mammals...lets do it how they do it on the Discovery Channel"....Sorry i couldnt resist, i dont even know if i got the words right i dont care anyway. It pretty much sucks that TLC,Travel,Discovery or anyone else doesnt do a film or a documentary on GA. But, that doesnt mean is a really bad thing. Think of it this way, Would you want Six Flags Great America to turn into a Cedar Point type crowds? with people all over the country trapsing in the park? Yeah it would be nice to have some of the CP rides, but not the crowds. Think of it that way. TV Time means for people with adds up to something we all hate: LINES!!!! When John Q. Public turns on Travel wondering "Geez Honey, where do we take Timmy to this year? They see the likes of Cedar Point and Six Flags over Georgia and Magic Mountain blah blah... Not Great America. So think of it that way. Besides we all know that GA rules otherwise we wouldnt have a Mounument to the park...This Web Site.REMEMBER 9/11 VICTIMS:9/11/01Jacqueline Ann Switek: 5/19/83--9/11/01"Terrorists can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot dent the steel of our resolve" President George W.
