I dont know if anyone menchined this, but Six Flags parks this year (including GAm) are getting new fancy misters on the midways. This is the company's website that is making them:
http://www.coolmediausa.com/home/index.html
Instant relief from the hot enviornment without getting wet due to an evaporating cooling mist controlled by blower fans. A triple filtered water system insures a safe, clean, and refreshing experience with every use.
I dont know exactly where all of these are going to be, but one is going to be in front of Viper/HH entrance.
Also all the major rides in each Six Flags park this year are getting new time wait / line jumping signs in the lines (that are the same for each park). They are featured throughout the line and say "From this point wait is" at various spots in the queues.
As far as the FlashPass goes, they are not the regular Q-Bots you see at most parks, with these you can reserve your ride without going to the entrance (and the Q-Bots are different design). DejaVu is getting FlashPass.
New loose item bins (that might not be at the rides when the park opens, but will be coming out throghout the summer) are basically sliding doors that the op opens/closes and different bins for each train, to prevent theft.

It's about time they are doing that, maybe they stole that idea from Holiday World.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
Those ideas were proposed in 2005. Im glad they are finally bringing them to life!

Ha...I was wondering about that little cool place. The mist barely even came out...I felt like I was being bathed with air, more than the mist of water.
WOW!!! All of those things sound like great ideas! That's great to see the Six Flags parks getting them. I don't really know too much about the Flashpass stuff, but the wait time signs and the ride bins sound perfect for what we've always needed!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
These things look pretty cool. Can't wait to see them in action!

Speaking of the Cool Zone: it wouldnt surprise me to see that removed for the Spygirl Gift Shop (if not, the gift shop will be right next to the cool zone). Also, I believe Coke made a special energy drink for Spygirl that will be for sale in the park.
I did get to go by the park today. Saw Condor, SUF, BTR, Daredevil Dive, Giant Drop, Iron Wolf, V2, and Viper were all running.
If only Wiggles World was going a bit faster, everything would be better.

If you look at pictures of SFNE's thats along the lines of what we have. I do think we'll have the best Wiggles area out of all of them since ours is not a retheme attempt.
And people have been flying from DDD for 2 weeks. And no, we inspect the cables before anyone rides it, then the state inspects it, then people can ride/train.
It will be interesting to see what happens to the Cool Zone. Can't wait to see the show though. I heard it is going to be awesome!

Well, while we are on the topic of the Wiggles addition, what happened to American Eagle's line?! Any pictures or explanations about how things are fitting in over there?

The queue line is being moved into Dare Devil's Dives registration booth thing. I like the way it looks now, before it was depressing going threw that empty tent to ride that ride.
What's really funny, is that you think I'm from the GP (General Public). When indeed, I most likely know far more about the coaster, as I've rode it multiple times.
Everything for Wiggles is brand new. Raceway is not affected by the addition of Wiggles World. There are other changes at Raceway which will be seen as soon as the season begins.
RagingBullFan wrote:Um, Wiggles World appears to be pretty close to being on schedule right now. Don't know where your getting your info...
We will see if it opens on May 5th, and not Memorial Day Weekend, like I have heard.
