I was waiting for someone to say it.
Knowing that Shapiro is trying to re-direct the park more towards families, I think that if anything were to replace Iron Wolf, it would most likely be a Camp Cartoon Network expansion, and/or a dark ride.
If a floor-less is ever installed, I believe it would take the place of Demon.
Yes theres other spots, but I doubt they'd install a compact floor-less coaster. Whizzer has a lot of room, but a floor-less wouldn't look right there and a good chunk of land would stay untouched without easy access to for other things. The Loggers area is another spot, but again, I could eventually see this area being filled and covered and used for expansion of other attractions instead of again using the spot for a floor-less and then having land unaccessible.

If you look at things in the category of "It just isn't what it used to be" you can easily see what ride may be removed next.
Demon isn't one of those. Nor is Iron Wolf. Unless something major happens those rides will stay.
Rides deteriorate with time, especially when in very hash conditions. There comes a time when a ride will be removed because the costs of running it and its waning popularity make it not worth repairing. Demon & Wolf still host a very large number of riders to justify any repairs.
^ You might beat around the bush here, but Im going to flat out say what I think you where trying not to say.
American Eagle would be the ride removed for another ride in the future, I love the ride, and Id hate to see it be removed, But like all good things, It will face its end. And unfortunately with Eagle, it will be sooner then later.
okay i have to disagree with that. the lines for american eagle are always long, it still holds 2 records, its very unique in its design, it is a wonderful family ride. I really doubt the eagle will have his wings clipped.
Regardless if it holds 15 records, If the ride is a problem for maintence and is costing too much for upkeep the can bet the farm Six Flags is going to remove it.
Think about it this way, If you owned a Corvette, and it was a great car, It was fast and just a great car, BUT the car was in the shop 3 days a week and it was costing you 2,000 a shot everytime you needed repairs done on it, Yeah you still got a vette but there comes a point where its too costly.
Never stopped to think about the Eagle being the one to go next. Kinda sad if you ask me. But yeah, I agree wholeheartedly that it will eventually go. When this happens we better get something ridiculous back there in that huge plot of land.
Whoever said Iron Wolf should go, I'll stand behind you. The only reason I would want to save it is because it is B&M's first. Nuff said.
~drats, why did I make this post... I had the best number ever...~

Well, now i can't tell if you are refering to Deja Vu or American Eagle. So here are my opinions on both. Isn't Vekoma a pretty good producer of family coasters?! Maybe they could get a discount on placing a kiddy coaster in Deja Vu's spot if they inform Vekoma of their failure! As for Whizzer, removing it would be a hard one not only in the eyes of the public, but in the eyes of Shapiro. Whizzer, minus it's age and painful maintenance, is the quintessential Shapiro ride in that it appeals to all crowds. If it were to go, you better bet that they would have something similar coming to aid to Whizzer's crying fanbase (and you better bet i'll be signing the petition again!). So both have decent outcomes from their removals that could be good for the park and the "family plan."
However, on that note, both rank in my top 5 at the park and both would make me upset to see go, so I hope you are wrong on this one RagingBullFan!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter

Well, you have me stumped Kyle. You say it isn't Demon, Iron Wolf, or American Eagle. Yet, based on crowds, Whizzer is still popular so I don't see that one going either. Other then those 4 coasters, I can't think of any others in the park that would be in the "it just isn't what it used to be" category.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

The next new coaster I'm assuming will be geared toward families no doubt. I don't think SF would put in something big enough to replace American Eagle if it were to bite the dust (or wrecking ball). I doubt any new coaster in the SF chain will break the 150ft barrier under Shapiro.
Shapiro, you're turning me into a freaking commie.
I'm not really at liberty to say much more on this topic but here's some things to remember.
First, as mentioned earlier Shaprio is wanting a greater focus on families but that doesn't mean he's going to rip everything out to make families happy. He realizes that coasters do play a part in the Six Flags business plan but he feels that most parks have plenty of coasters that just need lots of TLC.
Secondly, don't focus on the thrill ride aspect. There are many areas of the park that can be improved without having to add a new "Bench : The Ride".
RBF I know what you mean and im glad they're finally taking that POS out after this season or sometime in the near future. Thats prime land right there for a large scale really nice family attraction.
Unfortunatley this means I have to ride it again this year ....wow I hate that thing, even worse the only time its worth riding is when its got a long line.
I don't understand how everything thinks they "Know" what's happening...in my opinion with Shapiro around, it's anyone's guess as to what he plans to do.
Let's worry about what happens now and let the future be up to Shapiro/park management.
EDIT: My guess for removal would be HTFM. I Always see people pass it up because they don't know it's there and there's never a line.
