$19.99 Bring a Friend Special

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Anyone else get an email from Six Flags today about "bring a friend for $19.99 with a Season Pass?"

Just wondered if it was going to everyone with a pass from any park, just certain parks, or what they were doing.

It basically says that if you show them a copy of the email, season pass holders can get up to 6 friends in for $19.99 each, now through July 13.

I guess they must be trying to spike attendance. Very good deal!

But, you do have to have the email for the deal according to the message.

There's too many discounts. Lower the price of admission, and stop it with 100 specials. Whether it's 10 or 20 dollars, people still look at that $54.99 price. 10 dollars up in one year is ridiculious. Last year, I was saying that our park was so crowded. This year it seems the opposite. Attendance had to be down thus far. It was the first day I've the backlot parking open yesterday. Part of the reason was the Tony Hawk thing. That took up tons of spaces in the front lot.

well the point behind all the specials is so the locals will go more often thinking they are getting a good deal, while out of towners who dont know about discounts get soaked for the full admission price and since they traveled far they arent going to turn around and go home due to high price and they probably wont know about most local discounts.

all the discounts are all about motivating the locals.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
