ha. i have been visitng six flags every year and still have not had the chance to ride king or rev. anyone wanna tell me how it is. i usually don't ride flat rides when im there im usually hanging out with my freinds or riding rollercoasters. I love flat rides but i just dont go on them there im usually always on the rollercoasters
I only go on Ricochet and River Rocker, I won't go on Rev or King. They spin way too much and before you know it i'll be by the garbage can. So I don't know about everyone else but my stomach wouldn't be able to handle those rides.
ha. i think when i wad 12 i went on my first top spin at the escanaba state fair. and it got stuck when its coming back down and the lights shut out on us. and we didnt; come back down till after 10 minuets.
I got stuck on my first top spin too, ala King Chaos. The very first time I went on it. We didn't even get to finish the ride so all I experienced was going up to the very top and stopping.
Spinny flats kill me so I won't go on King, Rev, FF,Chubasco, i think that's it but I like RR, Ricochet, ERC is ok i guess, Drop I won't go on. So yeah im very picky about my flats.
similar thing happened to me on the kamizake it started almost ready to flip fro the first time and then the things tops nad the op puts ont he brakes for it and we had to get off.
Revolution along with most other Huss Frisbees are closed, most likely for the entire season. (some second and 3'rd hand reports here, so take it for what you will but..)Something about something breaking on a portable Frisbee in Germany and it was sent back to Huss as it was a complex repair involving disassembling things that are not normally disassembled, and couldnt be done on the road, upon disassembling the hub of the ride, rather severe stress cracks were found, and Huss is working on a solution for this.
I know all Frisbees were supposed to be inspected, some re-opened, I assume with SFGAm's(and quite a few others) still closed, the problems were found on ours/most.
I would assume by next year it will be good as new and back in operation (at least I hope)

A cast member told me it was closed due to parts that were not there yet a while ago. Circumstances could ahve changed by then but that is what he told me. Revolution not working right now hasn't really made a difference in my day at the park. Revolution is a godd ride and all but all it does is spin back and fourth....boring in my opinion. I'll go on it but it's kind od a sissy ride to me. I would much prefer it to run like Excalibur in St. Louis. That one goes all the way around and is much more thrilling.
what else do you want revolution to do...would you rather it bought you a soda afterwards? its called revolution...it lives up to its name perfectly and anything else would just be devestating. yeah so it kinda sucks that its closed. the ride is the wtfpwnbbq.

It feels like the last part of Revolution the Ride the whole time it's operating except when it stops, obviously.
