Hey, why not? It could happen down the road a piece. Now that CP has made it possible to break records and still take up very minimal space land wise.Dave and I were discussing this, and I came up with the crazy idea that they could easily place one of these right next to the American Eagle where the Washington st. access road resides. Heck, they dont use it anymore as an entrance (just an exit at the end of the day), so why not utilize the space for a tall, fast, and intense coaster without tearing an existing one down. Look at this pic. Plenty of room for a Dragster.http://www.sfgamworld.com/Photos/SFGAmP ... 2_JPG.html
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
After I've been on TTD at CP I'll have an opinion but I don't know whether to say it's the best ride in the world or the biggest waste of time quite yet.
they couldn't jus put it next to AE becuz then they have to make a whole new place wit games, shops and all that stuff and not just a huge coaster with even bigger queue line and sixflags jus dosnt have all that money from the 4 new coasters they've built (V2,Ragin Bull,Dejavu, and now Superman:ultimate Flight) Admin note: Please use proper spelling and grammer in future posts and don't BOLD and Italic your whole post. Thanks.
idunno why, but i really want an S&S combo tower! a space shot/turbo drop combo! just like power tower at Cedar Point... or i think we should get one of those S&S Screamin' Squirrels... those look like they take up a really small amount of space and they look really fun... :):D:):D:):D:):D
I personally wouldn't want something exactly like Dragster at SFGAm. I would rather have something like X-celerator. Both would fit in that space. Also if they did build there they would have one hell of a time getting the line back to the main midway. As for an S&S tower, I would much rather have something smaller like the Double Shot at I.B. than have something like Power Tower at Cedar Point. The smaller ones provide alot of awesome ejector airtime at the top, while you just sort of slow down to a gentle direction change at the top of the taller ones.Dave who believes bigger isn't always better
I agree with Dave, on all that stuff... bigger isn't always better. TTD doesn't really look like that great of a ride... One of my friends went to Knotts Berry Farm during winter break cause she was on vacation in Cali and she rode Xcelerator and she was so proud of herself... she loved the ride! I think something like Xcelerator would be better than TTD seriously...
I know but if you ask me Alot of people complain that Batman is too Short admagine what they would think about TTD, Now the major coaster Freaks would love it but would alot of people ride it or would they be too intiminated by 420ft. CP has a warm up coaster MF is only like 100ft shorter TTD is like Double Raging bull and i see people that are intiminated by it!!! Dont get me wrong, I would love it but would the city like it? Would the GP like it???
Where did you get a 4 second ride out of 0 - 120 in 4 seconds? That would mean for the whole ride, you'd accelerate to 120, then instantly stop. Killer! 4 seconds, 6 trains, thats 2/3rds of a second load/unload cycle. I'd be willing to guess total ride time will be about 2 or 3 minutes, with about 20 seconds of good stuff. Most time will probably be slowly rolling around the turns, and waiting on the launch pad.
