Old SFGAm Commerical

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby zjohn1988 on January 18th, 2006, 4:58 pm
Look what I stumbled upon...

click me!

Anyone remember this one or any like these?

I definetly prefer those commercials over the Mr Six ones. It is more geared towards teens, but the commerical shows Great America more than 4 seconds long and it gives you a rush when you see coasters flying past the tv screen.

Post your opinions here.

"I wanna be bad wit ya baby"

Yeah, I wanna be bad with you too. 8)

The commerical appeals to teens like nothing else. Thumping music and coaster close-ups.

I like seeing Willa Ford compared to the annoying Six Flags mascot. Any year announcing D Vu's return is a good year.

Shockwave is also visible 20 seconds into it.

Yeah, I guess I liked the commercial a lot because I am 17 and that's totally who the commercial is directed twords. Obviously I'm gonna be a lot more attracted to Willa Ford (What an obscure reference, I wonder what happened to her) stripping into a hotter outfit than I am a dancing old guy.

Then again, the park likes to make money, so those commercials weren't very smart.

:::continues to replay the part where she rips off the skimpy Six Flags outfit:::

This would make an awesome football commercial.

EDIT: Can anyone tell which coaster Ford is sitting in when she screams?

It looks like Demon, but knowing Six Flags, is probably Viper at SFMM.

Look at the Harness, it has metal handlebars, Demon doesnt. I dont think Viper has a black train either.. It looks to be an Arrow coaster, but I cant relate it to a coaster in a Six Flags Park which is made by Arrow and is all black with those restraints.

If you stop the video right before she puts the harness down, to me the front of the car looks a little green. The seats are black, but the car looks green. :?: Didn't Viper get new Shockwave trains or parts? Maybe, it had those bars before they replaced it.

I think we have a winner!!!

Also, Ninja (at SFMM) has those bars, but that can't possibly be it.

Does anyone else find it funny that the "music video" cue in the lower right says "Willa Ford @ Six Flags Great America" when her parts were actually shot at SFMM?
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

I guess. They blended everything together so well that at first I thought she was at Great America. I watched it a second time before I realized that the train she sat in isn't at Great America. :)

^^ you're right. I remember those commericals. While i like the Mr. Six ones, I definetly really liked those. I probably preferred those because i was into that kind of music, and the celebrities endorsing the park.
