Get Rid Of Reputation

I believe we should get rid of reputation. Its just a way to make people look bad plus all the mods and admins can delete and reputation post thats negative  For example was it really necessary for aero to post

I agree. Completely! :)

Leave the postive part in, if you must, but the negative part is just a sick form of retaliation that can quickly get out of hand. Really, who cares what your reputation rating is? Yet some people dish out negative reviews just because they have no life...

Well, you and CoasterAlex really do look bad. I don't mind reputation. At least I don't have -13 or whatever

It also looks like an argument was going on in my reputations.

I think people need to learn how to use the reputation thing.

Giving someone a negative rep just becuase you dont agree with them is stupid. Most of my negatives are for that too.

Reputation is there for a reason.

If you make stupid posts, expect to be negative repped for it.

You don't like how this site is run you don't have to stay. Admins can do as they please, and if they want to change their name, they can.

Negative reps should only be used if someone is doing something wrong like breaking rules or being mean to someone else. (that sounded a bit childish )

Postitive should be used if someone is showing respect towards other members or makes a good RCT track. Stuff like that.

Right, and that is primarily what it's used for. I've PMed people about Down Repping people who don't agree with them.

Point is, if you make two posts calling out the admins and mods after one was deleted, then you deserve that -5 rating.

What difference does it make if the Admins. Changed there names? Does that really bother you that much?

As for negitive rep points. I have deleted some of the down reps (as im sure some of the other mods have as well) If they honestly dont deserve that down rep.

Jon Revelle had that happen to him a few weeks ago, someone on the board just downed him for no reason so i cleared it up for him.

What if they post completely wrong information? That deserves a negative.

You say that if they make a good RCT track it's a positive, but what if they make a poor RCT track? Don't they deserve a negative?

No, they just need to get better at making rct tracks. That doesnt deserve a negative.

If someone honestly doesn't know if the information is false, then don't just jump out and down rep them. That scares new people away. Let someone correct them, and if it continues then it's okay.

I guess an exception to this would be obviously false rumors (ie Tumbleweed).
