Only 5 days, 27 hours , 9 minutes, and 11 seconds left until Six Flags Great America Opens
Does everyone see that? Earlier I remember it saying 36 hours too.

Mine says 23 hours, I dont know what to say. It can be your computer clock, since it is set to that, but I dont know.

^ Notice he posted this at about 5:50 A.M., so at the time it had said 27 hours. I have the same thing too, and I know a few other people do.

You would be correct in that the countdown is screwed up; Nothing I can really do about it though, here's why :
The script I am using was originally meant to count down to 12 Midnight, not 10 AM
So, I had to just add the simple line "+10" to the line following the hours, so that it would go until 10 AM and not 12 midnight.
So anytime between 12 AM and 10 AM should show a time in hours that doesn't exist.... But it does exist... You just need to subtract 24 hours from it and pretend you see another day there....
When it gets really close, the clock will change once again; and those from last year will know what I'm talking about...

Could you make it a less annoying sound this time? I mean seriously. It sounded like I was about to get crushed by a steel giant.

Well it is the 24 clock sound....
You'll see it tomorrow right about 9:40 AM ( I have a 10 am Class/Test)
Maybe I should put it so it shows on all pages....

definately limit it to the index page only. although, with the crappy speakers hooked up to this computer, I don't think I'll have much of a problem this year.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

It's right, tomorrow (Friday). It would be 0 days until Great America opens since it's less then 24 hours away.

Crappy speakers, no I got 5.1 sorround. I like keeping my sound up a little bit so I can listen to music. The beeping most definatly will be somewhat annoying but I will most likely keep my browser on my weather thread.

I kinda liked the beeping with the 24 effect last year, it was cool.

Ok....
For your Listening Pleasure, I have added buttons to stop/restart the ticking sound....
So when I put it up later today, Hit the RED ( Red as in stop? Smart eh?) to tell it to STFU... and Hit The green button ( green means go.. I sense a pattern...) to resume the tick....
