^ that and to most likely save on the budget...while it may seem "wrong" to some, I'd rather see them start doing this right away rather than waiting until mid-summer.
While I dont have kids, Im sure some kids go straight to wiggles worlds. So i think it is VERY BAD to not open your premier/newest kids area when the park opens and intsead close(not that I think any should be closed once the park opens)one of the other two kids area's.
Demon, American Eagle and the rest of County fair are not exactly rides I would want to go on first. Instead, I'll start with Superman, Raging Bull, Batman, Vertical Velocity and Dark Knight. wait...where is Iron Wolf?
ok, heres the thing. sure, i dont like that certain rides open at 11, BUT there are how many other rides you can ride that im sure would waste an hour of your time. right? its not so bad...
This really isn't that big of a deal. It is only for one hour, and after that everything will be open. If you can't keep yourself occupied for an hour then don't come until 11.
The only part I liked about going to County Fair in the morning was the fact that no one was there...and thats why they did the whole 11 thing. But now, when County Fair opens at 11, it will be a lot more busy because many people might wait at the entrance to a ride, or do everything else first, will go to the back at the same time.
I don't know how I would feel if I got wet on the water rides and it was only in the 50's. It is always cooler in Gurnee then the southern suburbs I'm told and it wouldn't be so fun to be all wet when the temps are around 60-65 degrees. Chilly...
The way to do water rides when its cold is to run as fast as you can to the ride so your hot. Then wear a life jacket, it keeps some water off of you. Then run back to warm back up.
When its cold, Roaring Rapids wont have any extreme water falls on so you dont get that wet. And Yankee Clipper doesnt get you that wet any time. The only ride I wouldnt want to ride when its cold would be Logger Runs. Because that ride gets you soaked.

Any idea why both sides of AE wont be running???
This is a good point! While most rides can be lived without for the first hour (since the park has a lot of other things to do obviously), i'm surprised their newest kid's section would be closed. I understand the logic completely and it's definitely a great idea to save money (especially since that side is always a ghost town at the beginning of the day anyway), but still kind of a bad idea being that Wiggles World is rather new and still quite popular at all times in the day.
Thanks for starting this topic, i'll have to check back here more often when I plan on going this season!
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
Love status thread! How often is it updated? Anyways, I knew AE Blue would most likely be closed, but why is Orbit and Yankee Clipper going under maintence?
Top 3 Steel Coasters: 1. The Incredible Hulk 2. Maverick 3. Dragon Challenge (Fireball)
Top 3 Wood Coasters: 1. The Beast 2. American Eagle (Red) 3. Hades
Why should any pre-existing ride not be running on open day??????
So I guess its too much to ask that you do your maintence or rehabs between Nov and April???? So I guess the almost 6 moths of off season isnt enough time to get this done??
