What's the deal with King Chaos now...... It was one of my favorite flat rides but now it runs for about 30 seconds, and it doesn't flip that many times around. I saw the cycle before me (full load) and it didn't flip at all and then mine did about five times. I guess it would probably be some good reason as to why the rides cycle time had decreased....

The operator didnt set the load correctly
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
hm... I went on King Chaos last Friday, and I thought it was pretty good. I think we flipped four or five times. Also, someone tossed a marinara sauce from papa johns in the water thing.
Sometimes the ride faults (even if its on the right setting) and has to be restarted. Its been running the same cycle for at least 2 years, when its full it flips four times, when its near empty it will flip once or not at all. It cant run any more intesne program, the rides structure cannot handle it.
SFGAm should contact Huss and see if it can be converted to a park model and get rid of the water tanks, would make it more normal, though I think there is something wrong with SFGAms, in Europe it's the exact same Top Spins down to every nut and bolt, and being manually run it has no problem doing 10+ flips in a row without the structure shaking like SFGAm's does.
Also SFEG is a portable model and it does 6 flips, they hit ride stop and restart it so it starts with 12 flips. Wonder if SFGAm actually has water in the water tanks, that would make a difference

^Oh definatly. We did an experiment in science class in the gas chamber and (for those of you who paid attention) 2HO was actually very reactive with some chemicals. We didnt want to get near it.
2HO represents two HO molecules aka hydrogen monoxide I think, H2(subscript)O represents two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom all in one molecule, aka water. I'm not sure why you put the 2 in front of the HO, usually you only do that when balancing equations I think. BTW, H3(subscript)O is the symbol for heavy water. (no joke) Maybe KC needs some H3O?
was thinking, by any chance does anything think the sloshing around of the water in the tanks could dampen the structural sway?
I just have trouble understanding why King Chaos does what it does, yet about 15 others that are identical in every way (standard Huss road model Top Spins) can do whatever a park model doesand when manually operated, can far outperform any park Top Spin. You should see what some of the german fair ones were doing, wish I had ridden one though but I didnt want to get soaked

Huss closed their German Factory to move their fabrication facilities to the Czech republic so they could build to a lower quality standard (that's not what they say, but it's pretty obvious now that that's the case and they just wanted to get away from the TUV), so whatever was left on the German plot of land, Huss had basically a blowout sale, and Bam! King Chaos for SFGAm.
