Does anybody ever talk about how fun V2 is? V2 is awesome with the launch. Did they really slow it down from 71m.p.h. to 65m.p.h.? Or was it just a rumor? Please reply V2 fans!

V2 is indeed awesome. My brother (four years older than me, btw) doesn't like it because I think he's scared of it. He doesn't like how you go up that tower and you feel like you're going to shoot straight off of it. He won't go on it with me when we go. Me and him went last year and I told him I'm not going on IW because I have to sit and recover from a world of pain for about 15 minutes after every time I go on it, so he said, OK, you go on V2 and I'll go on IW. And yeah, I sure hope that V2 didn't slow down the launch. That would suck, but I guess it still would be a cool ride. Just not AS cool.

At least someone still cares I never hear anything about it anymore. And on SFGAm official site they said it goes 65 m.p.h. They may have slowed it down because people got headaches if they didn't hear "PREPARE TO LAUNCH, GOOD BYE!". But ya Iron Wolf is a headache on wheels!

So am I. And yeah, that has happened before. Sometimes they'd skip the goodbye and just say prepare for launch and then off you go. I always expect the goodbye, though.

V2 is a joke, it goes 0 to about 40 in like 4.5 seconds, it hits its max speed going up the front spike the second time of approximately 70 mph. That ride is the one ride I will not ride unless its a walk-on.

^I wouldn't go that far, but I do agree with most of your points. The launch is nothing after being on coasters such as Kingda Ka...or even Mr. Freeze.

Not to sound like a jerk or anything, but are we going to have a discussion for every ride in the park? Honestly, if you want to see if anyone likes a ride, just go to the park and see how long the line is. With a little bit of logic, you can find out if anyone ever "talks about V2."

I'd agree in that this place could use a few more original topics to talk about. We can all pay each ride its due respects without making a whole thread about how awesome each one is[n't]. Not to mention it looks more like a post-grab for ttd rox than a real conversation. (tho, that's pure speculation, considering the other threads)

So what besides V2 in general can we talk about? And please, The Home Depot, I don't need another irrelevant fact for this one. -_-

Oh My God! If people want to talk about a single ride, let em talk about a single ride! And I am not just saying this because I love V2. If there was a topic about Batman (which is my least favorite) Heck if I would care! If people want to talk about something, let em! Just because you think the topic is unnecessary doesn't mean everyone should feel that way! If you think this topic is stupid, totally cool. Everyone has different opinions. But please keep your comments to yourself. This is a sfgam forum. V2 is sfgam... I know you said "not to sound like a jerk", so I thank you for that. I'm glad you were not being total asses about it, but please. If you don't like something that others do, just let it be. You don't have to post in this topic...nobody's making you. As far as I know, the rules say nothing about this kind of thing.

Anyways, with that being said, This has got to be my favorite thread EVER! For all those who said to be prepared for launch: Well, I guess you could say my preperation is this: "omg I'm gonna die! Save me! Help!" I have officially been on V2 41 times and I STILL get freakes out before launch.

To the thread starter: Maybe you don't hear people talk much about V2, but you should read AIM convos with me and sfgam12321! ALL we ever talk about is V2! Don't feel alone, my friend! This chick here is the #1 V2 fan!

V2 in my opinon, is the scarest ride there. Well, only the launch. After that its ok. I also hope they didn't slow it down.
