Friday AM or PM best for arrival

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hello. I'm going to SFGA this Friday and can either go from openning to about 3:00 or from 4:00 to 10:00. Which is least busy. I just want to make sure I go on the best coasters with the least amount of wait. Also, what order/itinerary do you suggest for the best use of my time when I get there and where should I sit on each ride. Thanks for the info!!!!! this site is great!

Go from 4:00 - 10:00! From 8:00 - 10:00 you'll be able to ride a lot... The park really starts clearing out by then. Besides it'll be less hot (if it is that day).

I am going Friday also, but from 10:00-4:00. I think it is better then at night because from 10:00 until 11:30 there is really no waits at all.

I can agree with both times. I usually run into no lines over in SW Territory from about 10:00 - 11:00 AM *hint*. This makes for sweet Viper and RB rides. Evening can be great as well. Lines are shorter plus the wooden coasters run faster, especially Viper.

The Best time is easily 4:00 to 10:00... The park has cleared out somewhat, and heres the best part. Raging Bull at night... simply put its amazing going into that tunnel... its pitch black and makes the ride more thrilling...*More so then it already is*.
