I'm reading that whizzer's height restriction posted on this site is 36" w/adult and 42" alone, but the six flags site states just 42". Which is correct. Just asking cause I'm taking my 4 1/2 year old son and want to know if he can ride w/me or not.

I'm sure that you can take him on with you or you can check in the entrance if he can or cannot.
Whizzer is the best roller coaster in MY WORLD!

Some people take roller coasters as rides, some as passions,I take them as life!

The Official Six Flags site is wrong. A lot of the height requirements got messed up when the site was redone. All height requirements are the same as last year. For Whizzer, that is 36", Riders between 36" and 42" must be accompanied by an adult (Adult is defined as some one 54" or taller).

Awesome. I'm so excited that he gets to ride his first coaster this year with me. He's getting too big far too fast.

Time seems to accelerate once you have kids. It seems like just yesterday that my oldest was born. Now this year she is taking her first steps towards the "big" coasters. Viper, Eagle, and RC.
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.

Isn't it so nice how Whizzer is right by the entrance so you can warm up to the bigger rides faster?
I hope your son has fun. I can't wait to take my spit-and-blood little sister on it later this year. What's more I can't wait to ride it TOMORROW!!
Eh.......I got nothing.
