Postby T.K. on January 14th, 2007, 9:03 pm
Here is a main topic for what's comming for 2007. Here you can write your reply to new rides/stuff that will/might happen in 2007.

Operation Spy Girls i think it will be a great adittion for 07 season. this is marking that SFGAm is really going in direction "FAMILY". lol. I hope they add something more ;)
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!

um... dont we already have like 4 threads open about new stuff? (Haunted Harbor, more actors, a sign). Also, they said no new rides until they get out of debt. I think i may smell a lock on this thread.

^If Six Flags still wants to attract people they will have to add new things to market each year, what Shapiro is saying is not to expect a few new B&M's around the chain each season. And unless you want to create an all inclusive "New Stuff 2007" thread this thread should stay open. I think we should expect something new for 2007, as kiddish as it may be...
Top 5 wood-5-Goliath 4-Ravine Flyer II 3-Phoenix 2-Voyage 1-El Toro
Top 5 Steel- 5-Velocicoaster 4- Maverick 3- Fury 325 2-Steel Vengeance 1-X2

This thread will remain open as we have threads covering the following issues:

Neco. Rumor

Fright Fest Changes (JPM)

Triple Play

Opening Day

SpyGirl Stunt Show

While these cover some of the changes for 2007 there are several others that may come up. Some could be major, some could be minor. I'd say lets try to keep the more 'minor' changes in here and then if bigger things happen they'll get their own threads.

Wow, I was really surprised this site was still up...well not surprised, but it's like a blast from the past...I used to visit this site everyday back in high school - but either way, a new ride would be a great addition, haha but I'm sure that won't happen...I'm still excited to actually be able to go to Hurricane Harbor this year, by the time we got to GAM last year, it was too cold =(

I think we can probably expect some kind of addition. Shapiro never said anything about no new rides. They said they are adding six kiddie areas. Three each of wiggles and thomas over the next few years. And we know sfgadv is getting one. Plus the two tony hawk coasters at FT and STL.

If we were getting a Wiggles World, or a Thomas section, I beleive we would have heard something by now. I think that Operation Spy Girl is the only addition, attraction wise, we are getting this year.

It would be awesome If SFGAm was to get Wiggle's World, and Thomas & Friends Area. If they add that with new stunt show, which I read in article, it will be adventures, then I will go crazy ;) If what I said come to life, then SFGAm is making a perfect adittion toward families, now I think SFGAm is almost there, in getting teens rides with equal amount to children rides. Also Thomas and Wiggle's would be very good themed, and It would add to some areas of the park more color, it would bring some area to life. LOL If the rumor is true, then SFGAm will definitly have more families in the park, with a good product advertise. Remember more families = more money ;)

P.S. When I made that topic ;).... I made it so we can write anything that's comming. Once the park open, we will add little and big changes, such as for exampl: new paints, new lines, new restaurants, cactuses growin in SWT ;) Something like that! ;) THX for now closing the topic.

Actually, SFGAm alot of times doesn't officially announce new additions until the end of January/beginning of February so be ready for more announcements to be made for the 2007 season.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Keep in mind, except for Hurricane Harbor, all of SFGAm's recent additions have been announced either at the end of January or beginning of February. So it is still too early to say for sure we are not getting anything.

EDIT: Looks like Chitown beat me to it

traditionally SFGAm will clue people in to what is happening at No Coaster Con even though more times than not they will make it clear what is happening without actually saying what it is :)

It doesnt really matter what happens or what we get in 07 in GA a show or some family rides or kids section is a good enough addition. We have enough rides and coaster to satisfy every type of people and ages in GA compared to Disney or Universal we actually have more coaster, rides and things to do in our park than some of theirs and never get bored in a day. Still a good ride in 07 will be a good addition to the park so will have to wait and see what SF is planning to do.

I should have worded it a little differently Chitown, and DejaVu. I meant to say, we should have heard some "unofficial" leaks as to anything other than Spy Girl.

^ True. I have only seen the Wiggles world rumor on Screamscape. If that holds true, and the location under the Eagles tent is true, is there enough room, after they remove some of the queue, to put attractions, along with a stage for the shows?

Remember they have more then tent area, they still can use some of midways, and there is also planty of space between dare devil or eagle and bathroom areas. At SFGADv they mentioned Yummy Yummy Restaurant. They could use the existing restaurant in Eagle tent for it. I guess.

Sadly, the only things I think we will be getting is the SpyGirl show and some inprovements in the kids area's(which is greatly nneded.
Its tool bad that we didnt get all the new attractions that SFMM/SFGADV did when the company was throwing money all over the place.
I think it will be awhile before the park gets a E ticket attraction/major addition.

^^ There is no space between Dare Devil Dive and the edge of Eagle's tent. If Wiggles uses any space outside the tent, it will probably be by Wascals.

Don't think for 1 second they will neglect one of the highest grossing parks in the company.

Okay, there were two words in there that are scaring me....

FOOD COURT

That tells me that this section is going to spread to the farmer's market. This would take away from the theme of the section, the atmosphere of Revolution, and just basically ruin that section of the park. Please tell me i'm wrong! Because this would be bad otherwise.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter :(

The Food court, from what I am told is replacing bleachers and those games over there. The wiggles is not extending all the way to farmers, although I've heard it's probably going to be extending into the midway out of the tent.
