I think it would be cool to decorate the park for christmas and allow tours for like 10 bucks or something, it's a good way to make money during the offseason, a good way to see the park in a way no one has seen it before, and to get people excited for the coming year. Just a thought, and i'm sure it's been mentioned before, but i keep thinkin it would be a good idea.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
Unfortunatley not many people want to pay to go to SFGAm when everything is closed and random stuff is lying around all over the place...they wouldnt make any money off of it.
^On the contrary! People love christmas decorations and they love the christmas atmosphere. Can you imagine driving down the highway and seeing all the coasters with christmas lights on them?! It would draw a lot more people than one would think. And if their smart, they would allow a company that makes christmas lights to put their name on a ride (not in the name, but like what that show did on V2 this year) and get free/cheap lights in return. Therefore, this would only cost to keep a few security guards around. I still think it would be a great way to make money!

I think it would work if they turned it into a santa's village of some sorts. Since the real santa's village shut down, maybe get some very cheap tents to put over some of the flat rides and have them run. Have one of those "get your pictures with santa" for 5 bucks a picture. You could put santa inside AE's tent.
I think it would be a great idea if they had a winter festival at SFGAM like ice carvings, artic animals, tube races down the water slides at HH that would be sooo fun but i doubt i would happen, and other artic themed events.
This is a Screamscape report on Six Flags St. Louis:
The latest rumor about the late start to the 2007 season claims that this may be to expand the season elsewhere. It seems attendance is low in March anyway, so this may be an experiment to trade off the first few weeks of the season in exchange for extending the season later in the year. They could be thinking of running a Holiday event for the park next season as they are going to try at Marine World in 2007. You can also see new photos taken at the park last week posted to Negative-G.

That would be great!
But at the same time, HH is a Caribbean-themed water park, and I don't know if it'll happen.
How many waterparks are open for winter festivities? No sarcasm intended.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
