Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Wait, there's more. Ready for the Tony Hawk thrill ride? Six Flags Inc. (SIX ) tells BusinessWeek it will launch the attractions, billed as a "total Tony Hawk experience," at two parks next summer.

Half-Pipe coasters were made to have a professional skater attached to them. It makes more sense than naming a coaster after angry Cajuns. Six Flags already has a Half-Pipe coaster in the chain (aptly named Half-Pipe). I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more sprouting up with Hawk written on them. It’s just speculation. What are your ideas?
RCDB says: "The Crystal Beach Cyclone is considered by many to be the most extreme roller coaster ever built."

If it was a ride it would probably be a Zamperla Disko(Skater) model. Which in my personal experience are amazingly fun.

Unless they made a really, really large scale model, I don't think they'd put that in a major park.

Gonna be a full circuit coaster, with themeing.

Really looks cool. I think one is going to St. Louis

So would these by any chance be the two spinning coasters they purchased? I know SFSTL is getting one. Does anyone remember the other park?

wasn't Six Flags not supposed to get anymore coasters for like the next 3-4 years?

They said they weren't going to build any major rollercoasters for a while. These appear to be stock coasters with theaming not custom coasters so thay should be fairly cheap.

That type of coaster would definitely not fit in our park with V2 and all. However, I can see that being a nice addition to the smaller Six Flags parks like Six Flags New England or Six Flags St. Louis where they could use another coaster, similar to why Halfpipe was built at Six Flags Elitch Gardens. And as for the theme, I like the Tony Hawk theme, judging by the Boom Boom Huck Jam, he's obviously a big ticket to see/theme a ride after.

Those Half-Pipe coasters are a nightmare, not only are they capacity limited, but they are a pain on the maintence aspect as well.

^Yes, the word on the street is that 2 Guerstler spinning coasters were bought by Six Flags. SFSTl and SFFT are supposed to get them.

For those that don't know what a Guerstler spinning coaster is, click the links below.

^Those have always looked like fun! It would be really cool if they could pull off an awesome theme to go with it. Halfpipes going up some of those turns, a grind rail under the brake run, loud music, stuff along those lines.

omg, As soon as i seen those pictures that galvan showed, Those coasters are horrible, The one i tried was Timberland Twister, When I went to mall of america a few months back..Ugh. To me It feels like more of a Evil Carnival ride, that whips you around so much that you start to get back pains.

^Sounds pretty characteristic of how some of us would feel if we tried to ride a skateboard through those ramps, so maybe this is a good theme for this type of ride!
