Ok, I just have to do this. Who else loves Fiddlers Fling? I've loved this ride my whole life, from my first ride, which I did while waiting for my parents to ride Iron Wolf in 1991, to this May (I havn't been to the park since May...) when I went on with someone I don't even like that much.Be alone or with someone, it's just laugh out loud fun! Even when on the outside, it's fun, because it's not painful, it's a pain of joy! Who else loves this ride and has to ride it every time they walk past it?
I do admit I love this unique flat ride. But I love Triple Play a tid bit more. Fiddler's Fling is fun when you are alone, but when there is two people, it hurts. I almost got crushed by my friend, who is heavier than me, when I'm on the skinny side. But it was still a fun ride.-Brian

GET IN - SIT DOWN - SHUT UP & HANG ON!
Yes!!I totally agree, this is a classic flat...for it being as simple as it is anyway. It is an out-of-control ride and that's what makes it so fun. You can't stop laughing while on this ride, whether it be from the ridiculous speed or the fact that you are being crushed by the 200 lb. person that you came with to the park.john
It is a must ride every time I visit great america. And when there's no crowds, we stay on till we can handle it. I've done 6 straight in a row. I felt pretty dizzy after that. It get's to you after a few spins. But I still love it.
I love the ride. I always go on it with my friend. Everytime I trick him into sitting on the inside. Its fun smashing him . I ride it almost every time im there.
Fiddlers Fling is a good ride and all...but my favorite flat ride in the park is East River Crawler. If you ride Fiddlers Fling enough, you can figure out how to stay on the inside without being tossed to the other side. Me and my friends usually see who can stay on the inside the longest. I haven't lost yet, its really easy(anybody could do it, just a case of where you put your feet) and I usually stay on that side the whole ride, although I have occasionally just let myself slide over and slam into the other side for fun lol.
my cousin and i went on that ride last year and we were having soo much fun on it until she stupidly smacked her head against mine! lol....i'll never go on with her again!!

Wow. I actually agree with T Biggs for once...(shudder)Although the Triple Play still nips at it's heels for the top stop, FF still takes the cake. I still have fond memories of my carefree days as a youth, sliding violently into the far seatside. Of course, the bruised ribs I suffered taught me the valuable lesson of leading with my arm and shoulder. Them's the breaks, I guess.

Ghee It's a good ride an all but all my loves on TP and condor
Yes, it's a great ride. I don't have the pleasure of sitting with someone else because I don't want to have my brother crushing me to death. I enjoy this ride alone. I call it the "torture ride." It's an awesome ride, and I love to go on it everytime I go on it. Go Fiddler's Fling.

wow..this topic is old and tyster...its a Fiddlers Fling LOVE topic thingy not a Fiddlers Fling hate topic. Anyway, I've only ridden it twice this season, but I do still love the ride, especially when I'm the one crushing my friend!

I rode Fiddler's Fling for the first time this year. I absolutely loved it! I think it will pretty much be one of the few flats I HAVE to ride before leaving, (along with ERC, Orbit, and Triple Play.)
Crawler, Condor, Triple Play, and Orbit have been and always will be better than Fiddler.
I also rode Fiddler for the first and only time erlier this season, it's not as bad as it looks but I spent the whole time pinned against the side of the car. It's really no fun, while other ride spin and do some sort of other motion Fiddlers just spins, that's it's.
