Roaring Rapids

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Are some of those Astroworld boats that are a different color? Has anyone else noticed this, or am I the first one?

This is one of those boats from Astroworld. This is not a SFGAm boat in other words. It could be now.

However, some of them are different colors.

The Astroworld boats feel more comfortable, but I feel that they don't get you as wet as the other boats. This is if indeed, they are Astroworld boats.

That's because they're newer. I didn't hear about AW boats at GAm, but who knows.

There is also a boat from Opryland that SFAW had as well.

The Astroworld boats feel different because I believe the rapids from Astroworld were the first rapids ride ever built.

Yeah I want last wednesday on it. Didn't really get that wet with those mini drops at the end as I did the first time I want on it. I vaguely remember it being comfortable too.

^ I don't think I've ever gotten that wet on the mini-drops and rapids. It's those water cannons that get you.

I remember the first time I went a ton of water got in on the mini drops soaking everyones leg and feet. Maybe it was just bad timing or something then.

I think the Astroworld ones have the big numbers on them in the center.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

SFGAm's boats probably get you wetter because there's a little less padding on the seats.
